Y/N's POV

We continued to explore, when I got a phone call. I picked it up.

"Hello children, just know that you have to stay put, okay? If not, I'll be really sad..."

"Okay," I ended the phone call, feeling slightly guilty of breaking her rules. I looked towards Frisk, who didn't seem bothered at all.

They didn't seem to care and continued to walk down the hallway. I followed them, and strangely enough, I felt like they knew the way. I don't think Frisk went down here before, because there was no way up, yet they walked so casually.

There was a frog, and it gave us some tip on how to survive this place. I nodded, then noticed a shine inside the hallway. I walked up to it, pressing it like I'd did earlier. Frisk had already pressed it, and we continued on our journey.

There were monsters on the way, of course, but Frisk took care of most of them.

There was a monster named Whimsun, which Frisk just used a button with the words 'Mercy' on them. Then there was a Moldsmal, which Frisk flirted with. I wanted to just kill the monster, as that would likely level Frisk up, but they refused. I almost gagged as they flirted with it. Then there was Froggit, which I took care of. All I had to do was threaten it with a knife, and then there was a way to spare it.

In the northern room, there was a candy jar. Without a thought, Frisk walked up to it and took a candy out, "Hey, Frisk?"

Frisk turned around, holding the candy in their hands, "Hmm?"

"This place isn't safe, you know. We do need to watch out."

Frisk nodded, but I don't think they cared. They ran up to me a stuffed a piece of candy in my hands. Then Frisk went and got four more for themselves, despite the candy jar only saying to take one. Did we need it?

I held on to one of Frisk's hands, walking through the hallways. Suddenly, I heard a crack, and I looked down.

Fuck.

Frisk's POV

We fell through the cracks on the floor, which I had already noticed earlier. I didn't tell them, as I knew that they'll likely turn around to avoid it. It was our only way to the other side. For the first time since I met them, Y/N panicked, although just slightly.

"Holy fuck shit-" I heard Y/N yell, their H/C hair floating in the air. Despite their yelling, I saw in their face that they weren't as scared. After all, their expression wasn't that dramatic as mine was.

We landed on the floor, successfully earning an 'Ow...' from Y/N. They rubbed their back as they got up.

"Where are we?" Y/N asked me.

I shrugged, feigning ignorance. They can't know that I already knew the answer, "I don't know. We'll just have to walk through that door, I guess," I said as I pointed at the door to our right.

Y/N nodded, slowly walking towards the door to the other side. They opened it and then we walked through, finding ourselves on the other side of the cracks.

"How is that-" Y/N started.

"Possible?" I shrugged once again, "I don't know Y/N. Technically, we just met a talking maniac flower and met a motherlike goat."

Y/N looked at me. They couldn't fight against my logic.

"True that."

We continued walking down the hall, until Y/N's phone rang. They pick up the phone, and a voice comes out of it.

"Children?"

Y/N POV

"Children?" I heard Toriel say.

I froze at her voice. Were we in trouble? I didn't want to leave her disappointed, as she was our only protector in the Underworld. I could fend for myself, but it's been a while since I've met my mom. How was she doing up there? Toriel was like another mother figure for me, and that was nice.

I looked at Frisk, then looked back at my phone, "Yeah?"

"Would you like cinnamon or butterscotch pie?" Phew. I wasn't in trouble, yet.

"Butterscotch would be fine," I said. Frisk nodded, although Toriel couldn't see them.

"Okay," Toriel said, ending the call.

I continued walking, until my phone rang again. What was it this time?

"Toriel?" I said to the phone.

"You don't hate cinnamon, right?"

"No, I don't hate it."

"Okay. I was just making sure," Toriel said as she hangs up the phone once again.

I sighed, nodding at Frisk to keep walking.

We soon found ourselves in a room with a row of spikes. There was a pressure plate and a rock.

"Well, this is easy," I said, pushing the rock onto the pressure plate. Puzzles weren't as hard as I originally thought.

We later then walked into a room with cracks all over. I looked at Frisk, seeking for advice.

"Do we head back?" I asked, " We did explore a lot."

Frisk shook their head, took my hand and walked right on the cracks. As I expected, the floor opened to another room, letting me fall through.

There was a maze, made up of bright red leaves. It reminded me of the fall, when the leaves changed color. This, however, was more neon than the rusty colors the leaves in the autumn turned into. We walked through the path, and I figured that this was easy as well. There was only one straight path to follow on. We easily got to the door, and slipped in.

We got inside another room, this time with three rocks. Frisk and I pushed two of the rocks easily, but there was one difficult one.

It refused to budge.

In fact, it literally refused to budge, telling me to stop shoving it. It talked. That's not something you'd see every day.

I had choices once again, although Frisk decided to just talk to it, hoping to coax it into getting on the pressure plate. It took multiple tries, although it finally was convinced enough to move. We walked along the bridge, and we both noticed a saving point, pressing on it before continuing into the deep, dark hall.

A/N: Here's your update. This actually is the longest chapter I wrote, although it's only around 1000 words long. I hope this is enough.
