"Your daddy is so weird, sweetie."

"Sungie."

Minho pouted as he stepped outside,
immediately wrapping his arms
around himself because even
though he wore a jacket, it was
still freezing cold outside.

"I thought you stopped smoking?"

"I tried but... it's hard, you know?"

The blue-haired boy chuckled
softly before breathing the light
grey smoke out, looking after it
as it disappeared in the cold
winter air.

"It's not that hard,
I had to stop from one day
to the next because of the princess.
So you can do it too, for her."

It was obvious judging by his tone
that Minho wasn't happy at all that
his friend was apparently still
smoking even though he had told
him that he had stopped weeks ago.

Even though he himself had smoked
for years and he knew how hard it
was to stop, this wasn't about them
and their stupid addiction.

It was about their daughter.

It wasn't a secret that smoking
was bad for their health, also for
a small child breathing the smoke
passively but Minho didn't want
his little girl to start smoking later
as well only because her parents
inspired her to do so.

"I'll try, okay?' It's just..
Especially when my worries
get the best of me, I really get
the need to just ease them
with a cigarette."

The ravenette sighed softly as he
subconsciously cupped his belly,
he knew so well what Jisung meant.

"You know there are these
gums you can chew whenever
you get this need?
I heard that they can actually help.
I couldn't chew them because of
the princess but yeah, I basically
just talked to her and tried to
focus on her instead of thinking
about the desire the first weeks.

It was hard, not gonna lie,
but when I felt her move for
the first time it was like finally
realizing who you're doing this for.
It's all for her, Sung."

Jisung nodded softly but didn't
look at the other, instead he
focused on the grey sky.

It'd probably start to snow soon,
the first snow of this winter and
for a short moment he imagined
going for a walk with a tiny baby
sleeping on his chest, almost
completely hidden under
his jacket.

Their daughter's due date
was on December 26th,
she'd be their little Christmas miracle,
especially if she decided to
come a tiny bit earlier.

"Can I.. Nah, forget about it.
Let's go back inside, I don't
want you to catch a cold, Min."

And the ravenette could only
look after the younger boy as
Jisung wordlessly went back
into their apartment.

It was obvious that there was
something else bothering him.

But as long as he wouldn't
say something, Minho
wouldn't push him.
