The cold air makes me shiver. We stood on a cliff, snow falling around us facing train tracks. Bucky, Steve, and I stood on the cliffs edge, waiting for our target. The radio behind us chattering away. Bucky and I then slowly walked up to Steve.

"Remember when we made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?" Bucky asked.
"Yeah, and I threw up?" Steve answered, remembering that day spread a smile across my face.

"This isn't payback, is it?" I asked. Infront of us a metal wire strung between the mountain we were on and above the train tracks. To complete this mission, Bucky, Steve, and I had to slide down this wire and land on a moving train without falling. I gulped at the drop; it seemed never ending but I knew far below was an icy ravine.

"Now why would I do that?" Steve asked.

"We were right, Doctor Zola was on the train." His name sending shivers down my spine.

"Hydra dispatcher gave him permission to open up the throttle. Wherever he's going they must need him bad." The soldier stated. Steve put on his helmet and walked closer to the wire.

"Lets get going because they are moving like the devil." Another soldier near me said. We got ready to go down the wire. Nervousness pooling in my stomach. Steve hooked up a handlebar to the wire. I held mine in my hand. Steve then walked closer to the step.

"We only got about a 10 second window. You miss that window; we're bugs on a windshield." Steve then got ready to jump.

"Mind the gap," One of them whispered.

"Lets get moving bugs!" Another one yelled. We waited until the perfect time and then it was time to move. Steve threw himself off the ledge sending him down the line. Bucky then followed and it was then my turn. I quickly hooked the handlebar to the wire, clipping it in and then I moved closer to the edge. I took a breath in and then jumped off the ledge. My body moved at a fast pace becoming closer and closer to the train. The high-speed train moved below my feet as we waited till drop off time. Someone behind me yelled and I let go of the handle. My body dropped to the train, and I landed a small bit of ice making me slip. I quickly grabbed onto a piece of metal and stopped myself from sliding off the edge. I let sigh of relief and then pulled myself up to my feet.

We walked forwards trying to find a way to get into the carriages where our main objective waits. Steve then found a ladder and us three all cautiously walked down it. We pulled ourselves into the carriage and I shut the door behind me. I held my gun in my hand as us three walked through the room. It was filled of different technology and weaponry. Steve then continued through to the next carriage leaving us in the first carriage following behind him. there was a mechanical sound and the doors shut separating us from Steve. Bucky banged on the door by nothing happened. I then heard shuffling behind us.

"Buck!" I shouted quickly firing at a man how was going to shoot us. I hid behind a create and reloaded my gun preparing myself for the fight. I swiftly whipped my hand and my head around the create and fired at a man who was approaching us. He lead out a yell as he fell the floor and then another man came in. Bucky shot at him, but they keep coming. Loud bangs and gun bullets were filling the room as we fought. I was out of bullets and was taking cover the create watching as the same thing happened to Bucky. The door opened and I watched as a gun was passed to Bucky and me. I caught the gun between my fingers and quickly turned and shot at the two people who were firing at us. Steve ran inside and moved a create making two men jump out into the perfect shot for me. I fired twice making the agents fall to the floor.

"I had them on the ropes." Bucky said walking out, I stood next to him.

"I know you did." Steve answered. Machinery then started up behind us making us quickly turn and get ready for their attack. A blast was shot through the air aimed at Steve. It knocked him and Bucky to the floor and opened a large gap in the wall of the train. I quickly grabbed Steve's shield and started firing at the man. Over the loudspeaker I could hear Zola.

"Fire again." It called. The machine powered up and shot at me. The blast hit me, making me drop the shield and then blown out of the carriage. I let out a yell and tried to grab onto anything I could which ended up being the remaining part of the train wall. I held onto a bar that was nearly falling off, but I was still alive. I looked up and Saw Bucky at the whole which I had fallen out of.

"Florence!" He yelled. I let out a gasp and clutched onto the metal. Bucky tried to inch as close to me as he could, trying to save me.

"Hang on!" He yelled. I could feel my grip slipping but I still tried to stay on. I inched closer to him trying to get as close I could to him. I breathed in ragged breath of the cold.

"Grab my hand!" He yelled. I heard the metal groan. It was going to give way. I reached out my hand to Bucky, but I just couldn't reach him. the metal then gave way. It disconnected from the wall and fell through the air with me attached to it. I let out a yell as I reached out to Bucky. So close yet so far.

"Bucky!" I screamed. I fell through the icy cold air. My final moments looking up at the train I wished to hell I was on. The train then became out of sight, and I fell closer and closer to the icy riverine. I closed my eyes and tried to remember what it felt like in Bucky's arms.

"I love you, Bucky and Steve." I screamed. My body contacting the rocks around me. I reached out with my right hand trying to grab anything to stop my fall. I then felt my body smash into the ground. My conscious going with my hope of survival.

(BUCKY'S POV)

I watched as the love of my fell away from my grip. I let out a yell of frustration. Tears formed my eyes and wave of hopelessness washed over me. 'I lost her, I lost Florence.' I felt Steve pull me up back onto the train. He looked at me with concern in his eyes.

"Where is she?" He asked. I looked up to him, tears flooding my eyes.

"She's, she's. She's gone," I mumbled. I felt helpless, the love of my life had just died in front of my eyes. I couldn't believe myself. I couldn't save her. I was brought back to the surface of my thoughts as Steve helped me to my feet.
"It's okay Buck." I could tell he was also on the verge of tears. We continued however completing the mission and safely returning home. I collapsed onto the bed Florence, and I shared only a few nights ago, her scent still lingering on the pillow. I sobbed into the pillow and remained there until Steve walked inside. He was carrying a bunch of photos and journal. He sat on to the bed next to me. We sat in silence, and I looked at Steve's face. He had tears streaming down his face and he was looking at a photo in his hand. It was the year that me and Florence had graduated. It was taken at Coney Island, and we had finally roped Florence into a photo booth. That day played back in my mind. I remembered Florence soft hands on my skin and her smiles and laughter imbedded in my brain. More tears flooded my eyes and Steve handed me the notebook. I opened the cover and saw that it was Florence's. On the first page I read that she couldn't send me any letters but instead she wrote them down in this notebook. She was supposed to give this notebook to me on my birthday. I read the first letter she wrote.

Dear Bucky, The love of my life.

It is torture being away from you and to not be able to communicate with you.

The people I work with are spawns of Satan I swear. They are somewhat nice

to me but still expect too much from me. I need to be perfect otherwise they

might question me. I'm scarred Bucky, I want you to be here with me. I want

you to be here to tell me that I will be okay, that I'm doing a good job or

something. I want you soft kisses on my lips. I want your hands on my body.

I want you to be here. I miss your toothy grin. The love and kindness you give me.

I need you Bucky and as soon as I am done, I am going to give you the biggest

hug that you can possibly imagine. I love and miss you dearly.
I will love you till forever falls apart. Always yours, Florence.

Tears streamed down my face. Steve stood up and gave me a small smile then walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. I tucked the book away into the draw and tried to sleep. Memories of her flooded my brain though, never letting me sleep a blink.

It's the middle of the night and I am still awake. I opened the journal again and saw that she never finished the book. I flipped to the last page and wrote a letter to her, answering her first letter. I continued to do that. It somewhat relieved my grief, but it was still there, eating away at my happiness.
