(May 1940)

I walked into work and inside Zola's office. He had his office packed up in bags. He was running around his office frantically searching for something.

"Sir?" I questioned.

"Yes Frieda?" He asked, still searching.

"Where are you going?" I walked further into office.

"Me and Johann Schmidt are going to Austria, and you are to be coming with us. Right?" He asked.

"Austria? Why would we be going there?" I asked. 'There is no way I can go to Austria.'

"Because we need to access this base because that is where our main experimenting building and we need to check on how the progress in going." He answered. I nodded my head.

"Yes of course, I will just need to pack my stuff. I will just be a moment." I quickly walked out of the office, then the building and then ran down the road back to my apartment. I fell to my knees and scrambled to open the floorboards to grab out my communication device.

"Come in, Come in. Over." I yelled into the device.

"Florence? What is it?" I heard a male voice and my mind race, who the hell was this.

"Who are you? Over." I asked.

"It's Bucky, I am able to communicate with you today." He said, very happy sounding. I smiled but still felt worried.

"Bucky, they are making me fly to Austria, I don't know what to do because I was asked to track the base in the Swiss Alps. Over."
"Austria? Why Austria. Over?" He said.
"They have a weapon factory that is in Austria, and they are going there to see how production is going. Over." I answered.

"Right, I understand. Well, you cannot go to Austria. Even if they insist. Over." He answers.

"Buck, I'm going to be caught if I don't go. Over." I said. I then heard the door unlocking behind me.

"Bucky, there are here." I quickly scrambled to quickly put away the device before they opened the door. I grabbed the gun from my pocket and quickly shoved in the last floorboard and then ducked behind my kitchen counter. I loaded my gun and soon the door but blown off its hinges. I flinched when it landed only a few meters away from me.

"Frieda. FRIEDA!" a voice yelled. Fright filled my body as I heard footsteps inch closer to me, echoing throughout my apartment. I needed to see how close he was to see when I needed to attack. I quickly went to turn when I felt a hand grab my hair and threw me across the room. I still had my gun in my hand, and I looked up and saw Johann Schmidt.

"I know you're a spy." He said, taking a step closer to me, I hoisted my gun up and aimed it at his face.
"Don't take another step closer to me, or I will shoot." I threatened cocking the gun back getting it ready to shoot.

"Really getting snappy now, are we?" My eyes locked onto his. I then heard someone behind me. I quickly turned around and kicked the person behind me in the stomach knocking them to the floor and then turned back to Schmidt. He kicked my hand making my gun drop and then he picked the gun up and pointed it at me. I then quickly jumped up and grabbed the guns from his hand, but he kicked me in the stomach sending me to the floor. His kick felt stronger than I had ever been kicked. He went to step closer to me, but I rolled out of the way and then stood to my feet. Running at him I saw that he was getting angry. He threw one of the guns to the floor getting ready for my attack. I tried to kick him in the face, but he caught my leg and then threw it behind him making me flew over him and to the floor, he was extremely strong. I quickly got to my feet but before I could he kicked me face knocking me to the ground once more. He then pressed the gun to my stomach. I gasped wrapping my hands around it.
"Like I said, your efforts will be for nothing." He then pulled the trigger. The gunshot rung threw my eyes as he stood to his feet, smirking at me as blood started pooling around me. I grasped my gunshot would and groaned.

"HYDRA will fall, even if I am dead." He laughed looking down over me.

"You know, with strength like that I just might make you the Americans worst enemy." He then called to someone and people with black outfits came and stood around me. My vision started growing black as I tried to remain conscious. Flashes of Steve, mama and papa, general woods and finally Bucky went through my mind. My last thought was of Bucky, I just wanted to be in his arms.

One, last time.

My eyes opened, pain rushing to my head as I saw bright flashes. I tried to scream but something was in my mouth, I tried to move but I was being held down by someone or something. I finally I tried to kick my feet, but the soles of my feet ached, they have done something to me. My eyes scanned the room. I was in a grey room built of concrete. My head pulsing, every movement sending waves of pain throughout my body. Tears flooded my eyes as I tried to do anything, scream, cry, move but nothing worked.
"Soldier. At peace," A voice called, but I was not going to be a peace until I knew where I was. A man came and sat in front of me. I studied his face but with the dim lighting I could only see his lips. They were small and very cracked. His chin had red liquid around it looking more like blood than anything else.
"Who are you, Soldier?" He asked, chuckling a small bit. 'My name?' I thought. I searched through my mind for anything, anyone but I couldn't remember anything. I screamed. I couldn't remember anything, my name, my parents if I had anything. Who I was, where I was from. Nothing came to me.
"Nothing," He smiled, an unsettling smile that could cause nightmares.

"Good, good, now." He reached forwards and placed a rough hand on my cheek which I tried to flinch away from but to no avail. He then roughly pushed my head to the side as I felt a needle being pierced through my skin. I squirmed but it was over before I could do anything. My eyes grew droopy, and I couldn't keep my head up. My vision blurred and then finally I was out cold.

I could feel my body on a hard metal chair. I stirred awake and saw two guards, standing motionless, by a large door. I slowly sat up straight taking more of my surroundings in. There were machines around me

Buzzing and cords connected to me where making my ears ring. I let out a soft groan as I sat up in the seat. I then looked up and saw the soldiers move as and the door opened. My heart dropped when I saw who walking inside. It was Zola and Schmidt.

"Soldier," Schmidt started staring at me. I didn't bother to look up. I didn't realize how close he was until he grabbed my face and forced me to look at him.

"You are going to be my personal test experiment; I am going to make your life a living hell." He struck me across the face and then pushed me back further into the chair and metal cuffs held me down. Two scientists walked into the room and over to me. One of them held my mouth open and another stuck something in my mouth, I tired to scream but no sound came out. I screamed all I could as I tried to break free from their grip. The machine behind me started up and two metal pieces clamped down on my face. I shrieked as a button was pressed and then my brain felt as if it was about to explode.

(TIME SKIP 14 HOURS LATER)
I was back in the concrete room I was in with even less knowledge that before. I knew I had been tested on I just don't know what on, I couldn't remember anything either not even my first name.

I then heard gunfire and an explosion making me jump. I frantically tried to get out of the clamps holding me in place, but it didn't work. I let out an annoyed sigh, then became quiet as I heard footsteps. The door opened and I saw a man dressed in a bright uniform with another man behind him, one had blond hair and the other had dark brown hair. My eyes brightened as they undid the buckles holding me down and helped me up.

"Thank-you," I said standing to my feet making me wince. The one with brown hair looked me up and down and then pulled me into a hug. I flinched at his touch but then melted in his hug, I felt an emotion that I haven't felt for a while, safety.

"I thought I lost you," He whispered. I somehow remembered his voice but not his name. I pulled away and saw that he had tears in his eyes.
