I've been thinking a lot lately
Creating stories in my head
I dive deep into my mind
My eyes feel dry, I don't blink
I listen to the sounds around me
I enter a world where it's just you and me
I think about your smile and laugh
I can't wait to see you again
But I also think of sunsets
And late night drives
Old memories that are hard to forget
Cold wind blowing through my hair
I enter a world where I'm free
I'm not stressed, I'm not sad
Nothing has imperfections, I'm happy here
My head is dark, but it's also so beautiful
