I want to hug you out of the blue,
but I won't because I'm afraid of what you'll do.
I want to say "I love you" every time you leave,
but I won't because I'm afraid of what it'll lead.
I want to give you compliments every day,
but I won't because I'm afraid of what you'll say.
Maybe I feel something more,
it's a thought I try to ignore.
I don't know why I feel this way,
but I guess it's something that'll never change.
