I cry every night thinking about you,
remembering what you said
that didn't turn out to be true.
I miss you more than you could imagine.
It's been months since we've last spoken.
Those months will turn into years;
I'm not prepared for all those tears.
You let me go and dropped me to the floor.
Now I'm just someone that you ignore.
I no longer see you, we went out separate ways,
but it still kills me that things have to change.
I'm still here if you need anything,
even when I feel like I'm dying.
Oh my love, I will wait..
