Part 36(Kartik in trauma)

The scene starts from the manager bringing kartik in as he wasn't able to stand properly due to an injury on his knee...his arm had a bandage wrapped near his elbow and his forehead too had a bandage...naira was shocked to see his state..he was looking like a dead soul...she ran to him and held him, making him sit on the sofa...manish and swarna were also very worried for him...

MANISH:(worriedly) kartik..yeh kya hua beta...itni chot kese lggi.. manager sahab kya hua h...k.kart.tikk..

NAIRA:(Sitting beside kartik and caressing his face, she noticed a cut near his lips too) Kartik...yeh sb kese hua...tum itne chup chup kyu ho...

MANAGER:(to naira) sir kuch nhi keh payenge mam...he's in trauma
..(naira, swarna and manish were shocked) actually hmare office mei pichle ek week mei staff members change hue the...sir ki nayi PA, miss priya boht clever nikli...usne sir pe molestation ka ilzaam lgaya...uska kehna h ki kartik sir unke close jaane ki koshish krte h aur unhe force krte h...usne kuch pictures bhi dikhayi thi as a proof...unn pics ko dekh kr sbne uspe believe kr liya...sir ne boht smjhaya sbko ki vo ladki jhooth bol rhi h...2 ghante phle uss ladki ka bhai aaya aur usne sir ko boht maara...mein boht mushkil se sir ko bcha kr lekr aaya hu...phle hospital lekr gya tha dressing ke liye...doctor ne kaha ki sir ka mental state thik nhi h...he's in shock..isliye mein seedha unhe yahi le aaya...

Naira hugged kartik tightly, caressing his hair...she had tears in her eyes, seeing his condition...
Kartik was numb to react, but he recognized his naira's presence... he snuggled into her, closing his eyes..

SWARNA:(joining her hands) thankuu so much...aapne kartik ko trust kiya aur use ghar tkk lekr aaye...thankuu..

MANAGER:(joining his hands) yeh kesi baat kr rhi h aap mam... mein kya jaanta nhi kartik sir ko...itne time se aapke sath kaam kr rha hu...yeh office hmara dusra ghar h...

MANISH:(gratefully) yeh ladki ka jo bhi matter h hum kal baat krenge uske baare mei...kartik nhi aayega kal...he needs rest.. mein aur akhilesh khud aa kr sb sort out kr lenge...aapne itna kiya, vo boht bdi baat h hmare liye... thankuu so much..itni raat ko bhi aap kartik ko chodne aaye...

MANAGER:(shaking hands with him) it's absolutely fine sir...mein apni taraf sb pta krne ki koshish krta hu...

Manish nodded and he went... swarna and manish looked towards kartik, who was hiding in naira's embrace, snuggled up into her neck...

SWARNA:(to naira) beta tum thik ho naa..don't worry...sb thik ho jayega...tum ro kyu rhi ho naira..(wiping her tears and caressing her hair, bending towards her) tum toh meri strong beti ho naa...

MANISH:(to naira) Don't worry bachaa...hum sb smbhal lenge yeh sb...tum bss kartik ko smbhalo..he needs u..pta nhi kya ho gya...naa kuch bol raha h, naa respond kr rha h...(Sitting beside kartik and trying to talk to him) Kartik...beta.
..yaha aao..papa pas...humei pta h tumne kuch nhi kiya...mera beta esa kuch kr hi nhi skta...hnaa..(caressing his hair as he snuggled more into naira's embrace)

SWARNA:(to manish) Kartik hum se dar rha h manish jii...vo naira ke pas safe feel kr rha h..doctor ne kaha naa vo trauma mei h... shayad use sirf naira hi chahiye abhi...

NAIRA:(caressing his back) maa papa...aap dono plss itna stress mtt lo...kartik ke pas mein hu.. raat boht ho gyi h...ab so jaate h... kya pta kal subah tkk kartik bilkul normal ho jaaye...(Giving them hope)

MANISH:(holding kartik from one side) mein kartik ko room tkk chod deta hu...

Naira nodded and left him, but he didn't broke the hug...he opened his eyes and looked at her...he was not ready to leave her even for a second...manish lifted him forcefully and took him to the room...he murmured naira's name and started crying...
