Mr. Park's pov :

It was around 9:00 pm so there were barely any people in the park.

As soon as we reached here, Jimin pulled Y/n with him and started playing on the swing.

It is unbelievable that he opened up with her this early, anyways I am happy that he at least accepted someone other than me in his life.

He even mentioned his fear in front of her, I didn't know that he trusts her.

Though I am afraid of one thing, what if he forgets me? I mean just look at him, they are playing like I was not the one who initially asked Y/n for a walk.

Coming to that I wanted to talk about something important with her. But it looks like that won't be happening today.
*sigh*

" Kids let's go back now, it's already late. "
I shouted from the ramp.

" Okay, grandpa! " Y/n shouted back.

While we were walking back home
I decided to at least initiate
the conversation and tell her things
I wanted to discuss.

" Y/n, daughter when will your result be out? " I questioned by which she seemed a bit surprised, maybe she didn't expect me to care? But why won't I, of course
I should, I promised her after all.

" It will probably be out tomorrow, grandpa " She answered.

" You go to school? " asked Jimin.

To which she laughed and replied
" Nope, I passed the school, it's about
my college. "

Jimin made an 'o' face as if he understood but both of us knew that
he didn't.

As he didn't find the topic interesting he kept silent, taking the chance I again said

" Y/n, I would like you to join our
company once your result is out,
is it okay with you? "

Her eyes went wide as soon as I finished talking, she was surprised more precisely shocked.

" But grandpa I don't have any experience yet and I don't want to harm your image by committing mistakes...it will ruin your reputation if someone knows that you gave me work without any qualifications. " She replied.

I was touched by the way she kept me and my reputation before her dreams.
I sighed and said

" And who said I am giving you work for nothing? I told you before that I have done a background check on you right? And I know that you are a fast learner and above all of that I have faith in you. "

" Than-thank you so much grandpa but
I would like you to reconsider your
decision, I need to learn a lot of things- "
I interrupted her and said

" Then you are doing an internship first,
is that okay? "

She sighed and said " Yes grandpa " and smiled at me.

After finishing our talk we looked towards Jimin only to find him dozing off while walking.

I laughed along with Y/n and said
" Jimin, we are home, sleep after you
wash up. "

He flinched and rubbed his eyes before opening them and stated " Hmm "

I patted both of their head and went to my room.

Y/n pov :

" Minie? Aww~ why are you so cute?
Hm? " I asked to ' almost sleeping while
standing ' Jimin. *giggle*
