chapter thirty five

"Who else is there with her?"

"Some Dr Zoya"

"Ok. I need ten more bodyguards" i said and he went silent for a moment then he spoke

"Sir there are five of us already, i don't think we need anymore" i felt angry at his unasked advice

"Just do as I say" i said in anger

"Sure"

"Stay discreet, all of you, but don't lose my wife out of your sight, one scratch on her and i swear i will rip you off"

"Don't worry, she's protected with us"

"Ok, and one more thing, i would be needing security around the house also and wherever my wife goes, from Thursday"

"Ok" he said

I gave a few more instructions then hung up the call. Aleeza's security is my biggest concern. I can't let anything happen to her.

After finishing off my work i went to pick up Aleeza, as usual she was sitting silently in the car, no effort in even trying to talk to me.

May be it is karma getting back on me, i never cared about girls, and now the girl I love, treats me like trash.

I looked at her while driving, she was looking out from the window, she looked like she is in deep thoughts, I'm sure she must be thinking about her patients. i sighed and just concentrated on driving.

My mood turned sour when I received a call from my PA, he informed me that i have to go for a dinner party tonight

I scolded him for no reason, maybe I was just irritated because of aleeza's careless attitude and i took it out on that poor guy

I opened my mouth to inform her about the party i am supposed to go but stopped myself from telling her, she just heard me shouting on the phone, still she did not ask me once if everything is ok. Fine! I will not tell her anything now.

The moment I reached home she sprang out of the car, as if it was difficult for her to breathe in the same air as me.

I went inside, and immediately got busy getting ready, i did a few very stupid things to get her attention, but she was just lying on the bed, not even looked at me

My mood worsened seeing her like this. Then i just left home, but before leaving i told mummy to check on Aleeza, she looked tired.

The party was so boring, i was helpless that i had to be a part of it. Since a lot of my clients and investors were there i had to stay till the end. I was so damn tired my whole body was aching.

While i was waiting for the valet to bring my car, my receptionist came running to me,

"Sir could you please drop me home" she begged

"Where's your ride?"

"My brother was supposed to pick me up, but he is not answering my call. Please, sir, it's almost 1am, I'm scared of going in a cab"

"Fine"

My car came and we both got inside. I began driving, i noticed she leaned back her chair and was now comfortably resting on the chair, her short dress went up revealing her thighs

Now i know why she wanted me to drop her, I drove straight to my house, i will get down there and ask any driver to drop her to her house, i cannot leave her on these empty roads, it's not safe.

"Sir, are you happy with your wife?" She had the audacity to ask

"Excuse me. Mind your business". I said in an angry voice, but it had no effect on her.
