24 : Truth or Dare

(Hope pov)

"Wanna invite some more people? More fun that way." I said

"In a little bit. I've missed you too much today to not be alone with you." He says

"Me too." I say laying down on the couch with my head laying on his lap.

"I can't imagine my life without you." He said stroking my hair.

"Me neither Eds." I said grabbing his free hand.

We sat like that for about 3 hours.

I must have drifted off because I woke up to Eddie slowly getting up.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"Bathroom but you can call whoever you want to come over." He said as he walked down the hallway

I got up and drank a cup of water before going to the phone.

I called Nancy, Robin, Gareth, and Steve.

I knew Nancy, Robin and Gareth pretty well and Steve seemed nice enough so why not?

Eddie came back and we waited for the others to come

"So who all did you call?"

"I invited Nancy and Gareth since those are our best friends and then I also invited Robin Buckley from Band and I also invited..." I trailed off not knowing how well he knew Steve or liked him.

"Who?" He asked

"Steve Harrington." I said

"I don't know him that well but he seems ok. He doesn't hang out with Jason or any of them so I don't have anything against him." He said

There was a knock on the door and Eddie went to open the door and Nancy and Robin walked in.

I ran up and hugged them both.

"Heeeey Hop-" Robin said as she trips over one of Eddie's boots

Nancy helps her up.

"Jesus H Christ! Can't you walk Buckley?" Eddie says picking up his boots and throwing them down the hallway

"I learned to walk last out of all the baby's sooo." She said sitting on the couch.

"Who else is coming?" Nancy asked

"Gareth and Steve." I said

"Steve?" She asked

"Yes but I'm sure he'll be fine. He knows your with Johnathan." I said

"I feel like I'm missing something." Eddie said

"It's nothing. They just have some... history." Robin said

A few minutes went by and there was another knock on the door.

I opened the door and Steve came in

We waited another 45 minutes for Gareth to come and he still wasn't here.

"I'm gonna call him, see what's taking him so long." Eddie says getting up from the couch

"Hello?" Gareth asked

"When are you coming man?" I asked

"I was about to leave. Jeff called me and said he wouldn't be able to come to the hideout on Tuesday." He said

"Why?" I asked

"Apparently someone got into a crash or somethin'." He said

"Alright we'll come to my place. Hope, Robin, Nancy, and Steve Harrington are here but he seems cool enough. Surprisingly nice." I said
