8 : The unknown confession

(Hope pov)

We pulled back into Nancy's house.

I noticed that Eddie's van was here, they were probably having another hellfire meeting.

We walked inside and Mike, Noah, Lucas, Dustin, and Eddie were sitting at the table talking.

I thought there was a hellfire meeting but there wasn't any of the other members.

Eddie looked up when he saw the door shut.

He looked up at me and smiled.

I went to walk up the stairs to go Nancy's room when a hear my name be whispered behind me.

Eddie hands me a note and then pretends to look at the picture behind me.

I walk up to Nancy's room waiting to read the note with them.

"Guys come here, I have something to show you." I told them

The came over to me and I shut the door and unfolded the note.

I know this is random but I need to talk to you later, don't go home when you leave, I talked to Noah and if  you're up for it, I'm gonna give you a ride to my house...better than you going home. Right?

He wants me to go to his house? What does he wanna talk about?

Eddie came up to Nancy's room and looked at me and signaled me out to the hallway.

"Are you leaving with me or not?" Eddie asked

"Yeah. Let me get my things, if you start the car I'll meet you down there." I said

"Okay sounds like a plan sweetheart." Eddie said nonchalantly.

I walked back in the room calmly and as soon as I shut the door, I smiled super big... I couldn't stop myself.

"What did he want?" Nancy asked

"Did he confess his never-ending love for you yet?" Robin asked

"No but he's taking me to his house, I have to leave. I'll call you and tell you what happens later tho! I promise." I say as I walk out the door and go down the stairs to the front door.

I walked outside and Noah wasn't there.

"Where's Noah?" I asked

"He's staying the night here." Eddie put simply.

"Why are you taking me to your house?" I asked.

"I have to tell you something but, just me and you okay?" Eddie said

"Umm okay, are we good?" I asked wondering what he wanted to talk about

"Yeah we're fine I just need to tell you something." Eddie said

We pulled in the driveway and went inside.

"Sit down, I'll be right there." Eddie said to me

Eddie disappeared into his room.

He came back out with my clothes washed and dried.

"Oh, thanks." I said

" yeah so anyways what I wanted to talk to you about, umm I have to tell you something. It's really hard for me to say tho but my friends have convinced me to tell you." Eddie paused

"...umm Eddie? You okay?" I asked

"Yeah I'm fine I just gotta think this through."
Eddie said

He looked down and started fiddling with his rings. He pause before talking again.
