-|| Chapter 6: When I'm here. ||-

"How about we shower together?" he asks while wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"PERVERT-" I yell at his loud chuckling self.

I sit down on the kitchen island and start digging into my breakfast of Pancakes topped with some strawberry sauce and pulp.

"Oohh~ Pancakes?.... STRAWBERRY PANCAKES?! WAAAHHHH-"

I hear Taehyung's voice squealing over his breakfast. He, apparently loves strawberries A. Lot.

"Yes, come sit down and eat... " I said, inviting him to the seat in front of me. He took his seat and immediately began to have his breakfast.

"Aahh~ Why do you cook so good?" He groaned, making me rise my eyebrow at the compliment. What's up with this guy?

He looked up with a pout-

'Why is he making that face? I wanna squish those cheeks... Wait what? Aight he's saying something-'

"That was a compliment... "

"Okay... "

"..." 

He stared,

"..." 

I stared back,

"..."

 He stared again.

"...... Thanks?" 

And that was only when he stopped his intense staring and smiled cheekily. Mafia King huh? THAT'S A FUCKING KID IN FRONT OF ME.

I got up from the chair.

"I'm done eating. I'll be leaving for work in a few minutes... Aren't you working today?"

"Okayy... and Yeah... I'll go in a little later..." He nodded, still chewing his pancake with his pout.

I walk upstairs to my room, grabbed my bag, phone, purse and my watch then walked back downstairs and kept them down on the tea table.

I pack lunch for me and ask Taehyung if he wanted me to pack lunch for him too.

"Yeah? What did you cook though?" He asked, peeping into the pot of kimchi fried rice.

"Kimchi fried rice... "

"Yes pleaseee" He said, almost drooling, causing me to let out a chuckle, even though I tried not to.

I get another call but this time, it's from Felix.

"Yes Felix?"

"A-aah Jieun... I'm borrowing your car for a while... My car broke down and now I'm in a cab... I have to go back home... something is up...  I'm coming to your house in a few mins..."

"Oh yeah... It's fine... Where are you at right now though?"

"... Oh, I've reached your house- I'M COMING BITCH-" He hung up causing me to shake my head with a chuckle at his screeching.

The door opened revealing-

Oh-

The door opened, Felix ran in and now he's hugging me shamelessly in front of my 'fiancé'.

"Ahem... " Taehyung cleared his throat, causing Felix to let go from the hug.

"Oh? Kim Taehyung? Nice to meet you, Mr. Kim, I'm Lee Felix, your fiancé's best friend." Felix said, shaking hands with Taehyung. 

"Yeah, nice to meet you too... " He replied as he set his gaze darkly into Felix's eye, causing him to withdraw his hand from the handshake and began feeling nervous under his intense stare. 

"Well... The keys, Jieun?" Felix asks me, extending his palms towards me as I placed the keys in his hands. 

"Thanks! See you later!!" He says, running towards my car, getting in, and driving to his hometown.

"Wait- What will you go to work on Jieun? Your motorbike is out of fuel..."

"I'll take a cab to the office..." I said, dialing the cab driver's number on my phone keypad.

"The person you trying to reach is not receiving your calls. Please try again later."

I bit my lips and tried calling another number. 'No Response' 

"Common I'll drop you off..." He said as he grabbed my hands and proceeded to drag me to his car.

"No, it's alright I'll call my-" I tried convincing him that I could go with someone else, only to be cut off by him. 

"Your who, huh?"

"I-"

"Why would you call anyone when I'm here, huh?" his voice uttered softly as he opens the door of his car and gently pushes me in.

"M-mhm..."
