"Y/N do you know where my tie is? The purple one with the stripes?" Jon asked me, seeming worried and rushed.

"uhh is it in the top drawer?" he keeps all his ties there, all 82 of them.

"nope, checked there 3 times"

"well sorry Jon, I don't know"

Truth is, it was in the drawer. It had to be, his ties never go anywhere else. He takes them to the wash and then brings them right up to our bedroom and puts it in the tie drawer. But whatever, he probably just missed it so I ran upstairs from the kitchen to help look for it.

"Y/N baby, help me pleaseee" He whines, pulling a puppy dog face and oh, those big brown eyes.

"Jon I have no clue... can I have a kiss?" gosh he looks so adorable, he makes me melt inside. I still remember the day I first met him.

*flashback*

My friend, Lisa and I were waiting at the Toronto airport for our flight to Florida for spring break 2010. Sadly, there was a big snow storm and our flight had been canceled until the next morning. We decided to look for a semi cozy spot to settle for the night and set all our things down, conveniently across from the bathrooms. About 11PM that night, Lisa went to the bathroom and I was alone in an airport for a little while when suddenly a guy who just happened to be Jonathan Toews came up and asked if he could spend the night in our area, coincidentally his flight was canceled too. Lisa went for some snacks after her bathroom trip and Jon and I were all alone together. We talked for hours that night; about food, weather and hockey. Specifically how terrible the leafs were doing. The next morning, we had to part ways as he went back to Chicago and I went to Florida, but not before we exchanged numbers. We skyped for about 5 months until I went and visited him in Chicago, where he asked me to be his girlfriend. About 3 months later he asked me to move in and I've been living here with him ever since.

*end of flashback*

"of course I'll give you a kiss, sweetie." He replied after what seemed like a million years.

He leaned in a gave me a quick peck on the lips before grabbing a random tie and putting it on in the mirror. After that he left for the game, which the Hawks won 3-1 against the Penguins; scoring a goal, just for me.
