"Y'all ready?"
"Just open the door, JJ." Kie groaned as he rolled his eyes and they all stepped inside the church
"Okay, you're telling me Denmark Tanny decided to hide the cross here?"
"Mhm." Pope agreed.
"Everyone, spread out." Kie said.
"Okay, well, if I was a cross and wanted to be hidden in an old church, where would I hide?" John B said, looking around.
"Are you sure that Denmark hid the cross here, Pope?" JJ asked, "Are we at the right church?"
"It's gotta be here somewhere guys."
"What if we have to push like a secret button or like, play, like, a certain chord and then all of a sudden, the ground beneath us reveals the catacombs or something on which we stand?"
"This isn't Indiana Jones." Iris said with a smirk on her face.
"How about we try to find obvious clues?" John B offered.
"This isn't an escape room, JJ." Kie said.
"It's gotta be in here." Pope groaned, "Come on."
"I can't see where they'd hide a giant cross here." John B explained.
"No, no. There's no way he would set us up on a freaking goose chase that would lead us to a church with nothing!"
"Yes, I know. I get it. I don't know what to tell you, man."
"The clues led us here. The cross is in this church." Pope said, sitting down as Kie took a seat beside him.
"Pope, it'll be alright. We've had setbacks in the past and we figured it out. We're gonna find it."
"He's right." Kie agreed.
"Look, we've just gotta think about this logically, okay? Where else would you hide a seven-foot-tall cross made of gold?" John B asked as Pope looked through the lense from earlier.
"What?" JJ asked, following Pope's gaze as they all looked up.
"Oh my god. Look at that." Iris said softly, viewing the cross outline up above.
And Pope being Pope, decided to climb up to it, in the most unsafe way ever.
"Hey, no!" JJ yelled.
"Now Pope's climbing the wall." John B groaned.
"Pope, this is crazy." Sarah exclaimed.
"The church is old!" Kie added, "The church is old. Like really old. This isn't safe!"
"Oh god." Iris muttered.
"Yo! This church has gotta be at least 200 years old!" JJ yelled.
"He's right, Pope. It's too dangerous." John B added, but Pope was already at the beam with the cross' on it.
