Ella's "EVERGLOW" Makes History As It Tops Album Charts In Germany, UK, France, And More

Ella's debut album is reigning over more charts and setting new records!
Ella released her debut album on February 21, and it features the title track "FIRST."
On February 28 local time, the United Kingdom's Official Charts announced that "EVERGLOW" has grabbed No. 1 on its albums chart. This is Ella's first No. 1 album in the United Kingdom, she became the first Korean and Japanese artist to top the chart with her debut album. She's now the first Korean and Japanese solo artist to do so!
"EVERGLOW" had opening week chart sales of 38,000 in the United Kingdom, and just under 32,000 of that figure came from pure physical and download sales. It is now the fastest-selling album of 2019 so far in the region.
On the Official Singles Chart for the United Kingdom, "FIRST" takes No. 21.
The album has also taken No. 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart, making it her first time at the top of the chart. "FIRST" comes in at No. 22 on the Official Irish Singles Chart.
In Germany, "EVERGLOW" has grabbed No. 1 on the Offizielle Deutsche Charts, making Ella the first Asian K-pop solo artist to achieve the feat.
In France, "EVERGLOW" has reached No. 1 on the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique Top Albums chart. It does so with 23,502 equivalent sales.
The Belgian Albums Chart is divided into two main regions: Flanders and Wallonia, and "EVERGLOW" has taken No. 1 in Flanders and No. 2 in Wallonia.
In the Netherlands, "EVERGLOW" also takes No. 1!
The world's top five biggest music markets are known to be the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France. With these results, Ella has already conquered three out of five of those markets, with weekly charts for the United States and Japan due out next week.
