Chapter 68-Getting her out

Aidan's p.o.v

"Why do you think that?" Sophia asked

"Well I wasn't suppose to tell you but yesterday she came to the office late at night with a cut on her arm and when I saw her she had puffy eyes, tear stained face and when I took the scalpel I had in the office, she flinch when I brought it near her, like I was going to hurt her with it. I asked her what happened but Ander shut the conversation down. I don't know if it's Ander or Tyler but she seemed afraid" I explained

"That's strange, she was like that in the beginning when she came from Lucas's. Could it have been a nightmare" Sophia questioned

"I don't think so, how would a nightmare cause that big of a cut and Ander wouldn't shoot down my question on what happened if it was just a nightmare. And another thing I saw was some dried blood on her neck, she had a small cut" I added

"That is strange, I'll talk to Tyler" she replied

"Don't bring it up, I don't think Skylar wanted that. Find out indirectly" I said

"Ok, will do. Can you make the kids breakfast?" She asked

"Sure" I got out of the bed heading downstairs

Sophia's p.o.v

Walking into Tyler's house was a eerie feeling. Something was off for sure.

"Tyler?" I called out, walking into his office. I found him sitting there on his chair

"What are you doing here?" Tyler asked not taking his eyes off the computer.

"How have you been?" I asked

"Fine, what do you want?" He asked

"I haven't talked to you in a while, how have you and Skylar been?" I asked trying to get it out of him.

"Don't talk about her" he spat

"Why what happened?" I pushed

"She was the one messing with my medication and she attacked Serena, cutting her arm with a knife" he explained

"What, why would she do that?" I questioned

"I don't know, to get payback" he shrugged

"That doesn't sound like Skylar, are you sure it wasn't Serena?" I asked

"Why would she hurt herself and change my medication" Tyler replied

"You barely know Serena, Skylar is your daughter. What makes more sense to who did it" I explained trying to reason with him.

"I don't anymore, Serena has been caring to Skylar, while Skylar is more reserved" he said

"Because she's shy" I replied furrowing my eyebrows.

"I don't know, I have to get back to work." He shooed me out of his office. Tyler's vibe was way off and what he said doesn't make sense. I leave his house and go to work.

Skylar's p.o.v

After the ap exam, I didn't want to go home. Anything but home so I decided to go home with Ava. I didn't have soccer practice so spent the whole day with her and had dinner with her family. They insisted I stayed and it was cool seeing their family dynamic when it came to dinner time. Ava and her brother fought a lot but it was funny what they argue about.

"Skylar will you sleeping over?" Ava's mom asked. I didn't really think about sleeping over and I know Tyler would say no but there was no way in hell I'm going back home

"If you don't mind" I said

"Of course not, we love having you here." She smiled making me feel welcomed. After helping her clean up I went upstairs and started getting ready for bed
