Seinna

Sabay kaming bumaba ng sasakyan ni Azi. It was already lunch time and I felt myself hungry. Plano kong tumulong ngayon kay Manang magluto para sa tanghalian.

I'll just get change first.

Sabay kaming pumasok sa mansyon ngunit napahinto ako nang makitang may mga lalaki na naka business suit. Some of them are old men and shaking hands together.

Pareho silang napahinto at napabaling sa aming pagdating. My eyes stopped at the large man who was staring intensely at me. He was raking his eyes on my figure and it felt uncomfortable.

There were something in his eyes that I hate to see. He licked his lip before he turned to look at Ali who was speaking with a man wearing a dark button down shirt that is tucked in his black slacks.

Azi suddenly blocked my view. Nahuli ko pa ang paggalaw ng panga niya. His large frame completely covered me behind him. He probably saw the intense gaze of that old man for me.

"Oh, Attorney Del Vejaz is here! Would you like to join us here, hijo?"

"I'm a lawyer not a businessman. If you'll excuse us." he answered without filtering the rudeness of his voice.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at hihilahin na sana nang may umalma.

"Wait! Ang alam ko ay wala kayong kapatid na babae?" sumulyap siya kay Ali na kunot ang noong nakatingin sa matanda, "So, who's this beautiful lady with you, Attorney? Is she your girlfriend? Perhaps a fling? Or.. a fuck buddy? She seems to be so innocent for the last one?" Dinig kong aniya at sa pagka-alala ko ay siya iyong matanda na malagkit ang tingin sak 'kin.

Umawang ang labi ko sa sinabi niya. Natulala ako ng ilang segundo at hindi makapaniwala. How could he judge me like that without knowing me enough? 

Really? A fling? A f-buddy?

Kumulo ang dugo ko sa bastos na matanda. Kakagaling ko lang sa pagsimba at may nakasagupa na kaagad akong walang modong demonyo.

Hindi ko namalayan ang sumunod na nagyari dahil sa isang iglap lang ay nawala sa tabi ko si Azi. I just saw him throwing punches to the disrespectful old man.

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa nasilayan. Dumudugo na ilong ng nagmamakaawang matanda! My heart hammered inside my chest at the violence in front of me. Nakahiga na ito sa sahig at pilit iniilag ang sarili kay Azi.

I looked at the people around us. They were just watching the mad Attorney. Ang ilan sa kanila ay natakot at umiling. I looked at Ali to asked him to stop Azi but I just saw his face dark and dangerous.

"A-Ali! Stop him! Baka mapatay niya ang matanda!" natataranta kong sabi.

He glanced at me and I saw his face softened when he saw mine that was so horrified before he walked towards Azi and grab him to stop him from throwing more punch.

Nagpumiglas ang huli ngunit may ibinulong ang kakambal sa kanya. He suddenly looked at my way before he glare at the limping old man.

"All of you! Get your dicks out of this mansion!" Ali's voice is full of authority as he commanded. "Marco, call two of my men outside to throw this shit outside. And I want you to cancel my agreed investment earlier in his company. I-pull out mo na rin ang lahat ng stocks ko sa kompanya niya."

"Yes, boss." Ani ng sa tingin ko'y sekretarya niya. Tumalikod ito at umalis habang may kinakalikot sa cellphone.

A few moments later, nakita kong pumasok ang mga naka-itim na tauhan nina Ali. They dragged the old man outside. Pa-ika-ika itong sumama sa dalawa. I remembered that Azi also kicked his knee. Lumapit sa 'kin ang dalawa. Ali leaned over to kiss me on my cheek.
