"He is usually like that. Don't worry, he probably will leave you alone."
Saiki responded.

"He makes me kinda...I don't know."

You looked at him oddly.

"Uncomfortable?" He finished your statement.

You scoffed, "Obviously. What the fuck do you think?"

"Sorry about that. I didn't expect him to come with me." He picked up another piece of food and offered it.

"Thanks again for sharing..." You took it.

"As I said, I owe you one."

"Well, now I feel bad!" You smiled cheekily.

"You can owe me one after this." He grinned.

"You smiled a lot for someone who doesn't speak."

His smile only widened as he fixed his glasses.

While gathering your things, Saiki walked up to you.

"Hurry up." He demanded.

You looked up at him oddly. "Why?"

"We're going to hang out."

You chuckled. "Seriously?" He nodded.

"Good to know."

As you both were walking out of the school building, Teruhashi ran up to Saiki and began spouting words faster than you could process.

"Hey, Saiki! Where are you going? I should come along!"

You spoke up. "Great! Saiki can hang out with you!"

"Not so fast." He said.

Based on Teruhashi's face, he said it to both of you. "You're coming with me and just me." He turned to Teruhashi emotionless. "You're not coming." Teruhashi looked shocked.

"But, I thought...you..." She went silent.

Saiki turned around and kept walking and you reluctantly followed.

"Why were you going to leave me?" He asked.

Despite him keeping a monotone expression, his voice was laced with sadness.

"I thought you would rather hang out with Teruhashi...she's beautiful and, well, I'm me." You said out loud.

"Don't say that. Teruhashi may have looks but you have something about you." He looked at you and smiled.

You grinned in return.

"Hey, I have a question." He looked at you. "Is your voice the same as the voice you use to, like, I don't know, think?" He laughed at your struggle to find the right words.

"Yes, my voice is the same." He grinned.

"Also, what's up with the little fucking green balls?" You raised an eyebrow and lightly nudged one with your pointer finger. He quickly swatted the curious hand away.

"They're green, you moron. And they're just for...decoration."

"Yeah, no, those are definitely pink."

"Why do you choose to be ignorant?"

You simply responded with a cheeky grin.

As you both walked down the street together, you noticed he was looking at a sign about some weird thing called coffee jelly.

"Do you wanna go get some?" You offered...
