"You're really good at interior designs, Vienn. You really deserve the spot."

Veronica complimented me and I just answered her with a smile. She just got back from another country and decided to permanently stay here in the Philippines and work with me. We've become much closer after that incident. Elise is still in Australia while Venice still insisted to stay first to teach at Lockwood University. 

"Architect Cervantes, this design is really good. No wonder isa ka ngayon sa sikat dito sa pinas." Engineer Tolentino said while looking around the papers scattered around the table.

I could feel a redness running down within my cheeks kaya dali dali kong hinawakan at hinaplos yun para mawala agad. I suddenly felt shy about their compliments. I even heard Veronica giggled maybe because she saw my reaction kaya agad ko siyang sinamaan ng tingin.

I was a stone-faced bitch in real life that's why I couldn't really take compliments well, maybe because I was never enough for my lolo. I wasn't really good enough for him in the first place.

"You're a good Engineer too, George." Akma siyang tumawa sa aking sinabi.

"I will do my best to build this thing, Architect. Let's make your sketch turn into real life."

"It is nice working with you Engineer Tolentino." I said while my hands landed in front of him.

"Likewise, Architect Cervantes."

I had another schedule for today, I have another project para sa isang renovation na isa sa mga sikat na resort sa Bataan. I had to drive with Veronica dahil magkasama kami sa iisang team. 

"Haven't heard anything about her?" Veronica asked while she was busy eating her burgers and fries that we ordered from the drive-thru.

"None."

After that day, pagkatapos naming panuorin sa t.v ang sinabi ni Agatha ay dali dali na kaming dumeretso sa hospital. Ngunit pagkapasok namin sa room ni Guinevere ay wala ni isang anino niya ang nandun. It was just a man figure staring at the bed. Akmang humarap ito samin at nakilala ko agad ito.

"Sir Lawson."

"Did...did something happen?" He softly chuckled but I knew something was going on with those smiles.

"Nothing happened to my daughter, Daniella. She's alive and safe."

Lumiko na agad ako para makapag parking malapit dito sa site, malapit at kaunti nalang naman din ay matatapos nito. I might accept another project along sa pinagusapan namin kanina. I have to keep myself busy so I wouldn't think of her all the time.

After she and her family left and vanished again, I was left with no choice but to accept their decision. It was for her own sake too, alam ko at maiintindihan kong galit siya samin. I didn't also bother to hire several men again to investigate their whereabouts, I already knew the answer anyway.

Kahit sabihin kong para sa kanya yun at para maprotektahan siya ay mali parin.

"Naipadala na ba yung bagong inorder na materials?" Tanong ko sa isa sa mga tauhan.
