Chapter 45: Protecting Camren

"so you telling us this was the emergency" I ask

"No what you need to know is that Chris and Paul have gone completely insane okay? I'm talking Hannibal Lector insane. They practically planned Camila's Kidnapping and possible murder in less than 10 minutes. right in front of me." Cece replies

"THEY WHAT?" I yell

"Chris is literally pissed that you kicked his ass and stopped him. Paul basically fed him the idea to take Camila and go to the old abandoned house deep in the woods by the swamps. SO he could do whatever he wants without anyone being able to hear Camila's screams or cries. They plan on torturing her to death" Cece says looking at Camila and my heart stops

Camila's POV

When Cece said those words I froze. Chris is really off the rails like completely. I look around at everyone and see my parents. My mom is completely scared and my dad looks like he is about to commit a murder. When I look at papa J I can see his face red with both fury and disappointment. Meaning he knows that he has lost any type of hope for his only son.

"Did they say when they were going to do it?" Taylor asks

"I heard something but it wasn't very clear. I just left after they tried having me join them in their sick plan. Believe it or not, even if I don't like you that much, what they want to do is sick and a crime. Plus you don't deserve that just for falling in love" Cece says looking at me and I give her a small smile saying thank you.

"Okay so that means we don't leave Camila alone ever" Taylor says

"No, not just Camila. you have to keep Lauren safe too" Cece says and Papa J looks at her

"why?" he asks

"Because Paul has put Chris against Lauren to the point that if Chris sees her getting in the way, he will kill her" Cece Says

"Why though?" Papa J asks

"Payback" Cece answer

"Payback for what?" Papa J questions

"For not loving him back" I answer

"What?" he says confused

"Paul never broke up with Lauren. Lauren broke up with him because she loved me. The day she broke up with him, he got really pissed and hasn't let it go" I answer not wanting to say what else happened

"Lauren is this true?" Papa J asks and when we all look at her it's as if she's in a trance

"I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him" was all she repeated

"Lauren?" Papa J says worried

"I'll kill him I swear" was all she said

"Laur" Taylor tried

"I'm going to fucking kill him" she said not even noticing Taylor

"Lauren snap out of it" my dad tried but got the same response

"Lauren Mija" my mother even tried but nothing

"Lolo" I say standing in front of her, worried

"Cam- Camzi" She says as if dreaming

"It's me Lolo just follow my voice" I say knowing exactly what's going on now. She's at the point of a panic Attack. that's why she was repeating that phrase.

"You, you have to be safe" She says

"And I will but come back to me first. Just breath baby" I say taking her hands in mine

"I-I don't want you hurt" she says trying to breath

"I won't get hurt but breath please" I say pleading and after 20 minutes of silence and Lauren just breathing, her green eyes are back to normal.

"Lauren" Papa J says worried once again

"Dad find Chris before I do because If I do I'm killing him" Lauren says pissed and not breaking eye contact with me

"Lauren he's your brother" My mother says

"He's not my brother. My brother is the little kid who would come in my room when he was scared. My brother is the kid who came to me nervous as hell when he was going to take Camila out on her first date. My brother was the kid on the baseball team who was always laughing and never let anything phase him. That Monster out there, who almost raped Camila twice and is now planning a crime with my sick rapist of an ex boyfriend IS NOT MY BROTHER!!" Lauren yells with tears in her eyes.

"Dad I think we need to rethink our previous plan" Taylor says and papa J and my parents both nod.
