"Mane me neither.." Knowledge chuckled.
"Bae still not talking to you?"
"She not my girl.. and I ain tryna speak onnat. Play this game nigga."
Tay shook his head "Ight nigga, yeen gotta be mean cause your girl not talking to you."
Knowledge laughed as he stole the ball from Tay's team.
"What I say? Focus on this game."
The two sat in silence for a little while, until Tay's phone began to ring, to which he quickly silenced.
Knowledge eyed him before he decided to speak.
"Who that?"
"Gay ass nigga, acting like you my man or sum." Tay said mugging him.
Knowledge mugged him back "It's Sky ain it?"
Tay let out a laugh "Yeaaaa man"
"Nigga in love." Knowledge shook his head as he watched the smile stay on his friend's face.
"Shole is," he said proudly. "That could be you wit Amber fine ass."
"Ight nie, what I tell you bout her?" Knowledge warned. "But how you and shawty even come about?"
Tay shrugged "We gotta few classes together, you know how that go. Then I was at her party and remember I pulled her away from the fight.. it really just went from there."
"Nigga ain never been serious bout no one." Knowledge chuckled.
"Bout this one I'm ready to put a nigga up," Tay told him.
Knowledge let out a laugh and sat back in his thoughts, deep down he felt the same about Amber.

Beyoncé "Mine" played as Amber folded up her freshly washed clothes.
"I been watching for the signs, took a trip to clear my mind." She sang along.
A knock at her door caused her to turn her music down.
"Come in."
She looked surprised to see Lisa.
"Hey, me and Imani are going out for a girls day and I was really hoping you'd like to come too. Would you?"
Amber shook her head "I'm good, thank you for thinking of me."
"Amber.." Lisa sighed "I know that you've always had a difficult time at our house especially with your dad and Mani. And no matter how much I try to diffuse the situations the tension is still there, but we're a family and I really want you to feel comfortable here. Please work with me a little."
Amber blew out a breath "Okay.. I just need to put some better clothes on."
Lisa gave her a big smile "Okay! Alright! We'll be in the car"
Once her door closed, Amber laughed at how excited Lisa was.
She went into her closet to find a bodycon dress that her and Knowledge had found in TJ Maxx a few weeks ago.
She quickly pushed the thought of him away and pulled out a pair of dunk lows to go with it.
Once she had her clothes on, she grabbed her purse and headed out.
"Sooo me and Mani saw this spa on Tiktok a few months ago. It's all inclusive, so once you pay you'll have access to everything." Lisa said as she passed her phone back to Amber.
Amber watched the tiktok and smiled "It looks fun."
Lisa stopped at a gas station and took the keys out.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom, do you girls want anything?"
"I'm good." Amber told her while Imani shook her head no.
"Alright I'll be right out."
Once the car door closed, Imani turned around to face Amber.
"So wassup witchu?"
Amber looked at her in confusion before she spoke "What you mean?"
"I heard you fought Raven the other day, what was that about?"
"Oh. Yea I did."
"Amber I'm tryna be more sisterly witcho ass."
"I never asked you to be." Amber sassed.
Imani rolled her eyes "Whatever."
"Yea whatever."
When the two were little, anytime Amber came over Imani would pick on her bad. One summer, she had cut all of Amber's hair off which just left a bad taste in her mouth.
Soon, Lisa came back in and started the car.
"You girls ready?" She smiled as she looked back at Amber.
Amber flashed her a fake smile and nodded.
She really missed being out with Knowledge.
