JJ'S POV

After Kie finished crying while held her in my arms, we finished our food, and were trying to figure out a movie to watch.

"How bout megamind huh"I say nudging her a bit

"How did you even know that was my favorite movie" she questions me

"What can I say I'm magic"I say wiggling my fingers in the air

"Haha but seriously how" I can tell she really wants to know

"One time like 3 years ago I came knocking at your window, but just before I knocked I saw you watching the movie then turn it off so quickly when you saw me at the window so I really just guessed."

"What day was that, I don't remember it"

"I'm 8th grade year I think, Luke had gotten really drunk and tried to stab me,and ended up only cutting my arm, so you had to learn to watch a YouTube video so you could stitch me up" Kie has always been there for me through everything that happens to me, she's always the one to stitch me up, and put me together again even her smiling or laughing made me feel better.

"Oh yeah I remember having to tell my parents I'm taking up sewing and that's why I needed my moms sewing kit"she says laughing

"Thank you for always being there I feel like I don't say it enough" I say genuinely

"Of course I would do anything for you and Tank you for comforting me we both help each other out"she says with a yawn

"You better get to bed you seem pretty tired" I say picking her off the ground

"Hey you can stay the night again I don't want you going back to that house"she says patting the bed

"Well if you insist I might as well"I take of my shoes and hat and climb into bed right next to her"

"Good night Kiara Carrera" I whisper

"Good night JJ Maybank" I for 2 hours a stare at her to make sure she's ok and safe before I go to bed.
