Katsuki groaned, his breathing light, and almost non-existant. The building that he'd ran into, collapsing around him. Then a voice called out to him, seemingly desperate to find him.
"Katsuki! Katsuki please, if you can hear me!" The voice called again, cracking and sounding more pained with each word. The blonde let out a soft whimper of pain, reaching out from under the rubble, calling out, "Eijir-ou-!" He coughed violently, holding his arm over his mouth.
"Katsuki!" The voice was closer now, and was paired with a blurry, red figure. As the blonde's vision cleared, he could see now that the figure belonged to Eijirou, to which he was filled with a pained relief.
"C'mon- I- I know it hurts but I need you to help me out here- it's too heavy- Katsuki please!" The redhead pleaded, pushing with all his strength as he tried to free the blonde; All while tears fell down his cheeks, moving at the speed of a waterfall, dampening the ground below him. His eyes were wide, panic-filled, and glossed by the ocean of tears.
"Eijir-ou-..stop-" He inhaled sharply, "Ei- the building is done, I'm done, please.. Let go."
The redhead gave a soft sob, shaking his head and pushing even harder, and gave a rather loud, relieved gasp as the stone and metal fell to the side, freeing the wounded blonde. Relief washed over him.
...
Until the blonde made a pained choking noise.
He looked down, now realizing why the blonde had choked. He'd choked on blood. And had been stabbed in the abdomen.
"Katsuki!" Eijirou's panic grew, and now he began to move quicker than ever before.
"Stay with me-! Please, c'mon! You gotta stay with me kats...!"
"Hey there Kats.. How are you?" The redhead smiled gently, and propped himself up onto his knees.
"Did you hear? Heh- Kaminari finally got the courage to propose! Of course, I had to give him the old 'Bakugou pep-talk' beforehand, since you weren't able to but.. It still worked-!" He sighed shakily, and whimpered. He felt warm hands on his shoulders, and turned to see Mina, Denki, Jirou, and Sero all standing there. Mina squeezed his shoulders lightly and gave him a sad smile.
"I know.." He mumbled, and turned back to the headstone in front of him.
"I'm so sorry Kats.."
