Taehyung slowly opened his eyes, glancing around the room, but she was nowhere to be seen. With a stretch, he made his way to the bathroom for a quick shower before heading downstairs

"Morning Dad" Taehyung greeted entering the leaving room

"Good morning, son"

His dad replied with a smile, glancing up from his newspaper

Taehyung scanned the room, His eyes searching for Y/n

Taehyung: Dad, Have to seen mom? I haven't spotted her anywhere

Mr.Kim: Are you really looking for your mom or my daughter in law?

Taehyung grinned sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck

Taehyung: Quit teasing, Dad

His dad laughed lightly before answering

Mr.Kim: They're both in the kitchen

Mrs. Kim teased Taehyung as he entered the kitchen

Mrs.Kim: Look who finally decided to join us

Taehyung greeted his mother with a playful smirk

Taehyung: Good morning, old lady

Mrs.Kim laughed and playfully scolded him

Mrs.Kim: Oh, you cheeky little rascal! I'm not that old

They shared a lighthearted moment, but Taehyung's gaze remained fixed on Y/n

Mrs. Kim then redirected Taehyung's attention

Mrs.Kim: Taehyung, why don't you help Y/n with breakfast? I've got some other things to take care of in the living room

As the Mrs.Kim left the kitchen, taehyung stood beside Y/n and greeted her

Taehyung: Good Morning y/niee

Y/n: Good morning

They exchanged smiles before Y/n resumed cooking

Taehyung: What should I do?

Y/n: Nothing tae, I will manage it

Taehyung: No, tell me, baby

Y/n: Uh, Cut the onions

He chuckled softly before proceeding to chop the onions

She was washing her hands as Taehyung stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder

Taehyung: How about we go to the beach tonight?

Y/n: Okay

Just as he leaned in to kiss her cheek, his mom entered the kitchen, causing Y/n to panic. She instinctively pushed Taehyung away, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground

Taehyung: Argh...

He groaned in pain as he hit the ground

Y/n: Oh, my goodness, I'm so sorry, Tae

Mrs. Kim struggled to contain her laughter as she walked over to them

Y/n helped him to stand up

Taehyung: What was that for?
