Lexi and Fez got home late last night. Ash was outside smoking again by the time they came home. He couldn't help but look over to Elara's house. Elara sat next to her brother as he smoked. They laughed together looking at her phone. El felt the eyes burning into her and when she looked up she saw those pretty brown eyes.

Ashtray looked away after a minute turning to a drunk Lexi. He watched as his brother helped the girl out the car towards the steps.

"Hey ash, how was your night?" Fez said helping Lexi walk up the stairs.

"Boring" Ashtray continued, "I did meet one of the neighbors kids. She said her name was Elara Jean" He finished. Lexi face lit up at the sound of Elara's name. She looked at Ash then towards Elara giggling. 

"She's cute Ash" 

Ashtray couldn't help but laugh at her. He never witnessed Lexi get drunk like this. Fez just laughed and walked her inside to get her ready for bed. Ashtray finished smoking and went back inside locking the screen door and the front door.

June 25

Today I didn't have work so I got to sleep in. It was supposed to be a chill day, I was just gonna lay in bed and watch teen wolf maybe even invite Val over. I was so tired from working so often and always covering Enzo's shifts, I needed a day to just catch up on sleep.

"Jean, can you get down here I need to run out with Enzo and need you to watch Leo."

that plan was short lived.

"Yea coming da." I walked down the steps to see Leo playing mario kart. I sat down next to him and went on my phone as I heard the front door shut. I went upstairs, not to long after dad and Enzo left, to change. I chose to be comfy and just threw on a cropped white tank top and grey shorts.

I went back downstairs and sat back down next to leo and went on my phone for a bit.

1 hour later

"Hey Leo, let's go on a walk  to the park for a little. You've been on that all morning." I stated pointing to the gaming console hooked up to our tv. "Fine only because I know the ice cream truck will be there soon." Leo said in a dramatic voice.

I grabbed my house keys and put on my shoes while Leo ran to get his. I locked up and watched as Leo ran passed each house. "Leo" I yelled. "Wait up I don't want you getting to far from me" I continued to yell to him. He turned back and ran back to me. 

"You need your water anyways."

He started to speed walk, then jog, then he ran off. 

"At least stop at the corner please."

Once we got to the park I sat on a bench while Leo ran to the monkey bars. I looked up from my phone to check on him and he was still playing, from the corner of my eye I saw my new neighbor. The moody one. He sat down on the bench next to the one I'm sitting on with a blunt in his hand. I watched as his hand went up to his mouth. As he inhaled deeply, then tilted his head back a little as he let the smoke leave his lips.

"Hi again." 

I smiled at him brightly hoping that his mood was better from last night. He just looked at me, up and down, then turned back letting the smoke exit his mouth.

"Not so fond of people huh?"

He looked at me again and rolled his eyes slightly. "Yea you can say that," he said in a slightly annoyed tone. Bro what is this kids problem. It was an awkward silence, tension grew as we just starred at each other. But our starring contest was cut short when Leo ran up to me asking for his water. 

Thank god for Leo.

I unscrewed the top and gave it to him. He chugged the water loudly, he handed it back to me accidentally dropping the lid. He was already back at the monkey bars. Determined to make it more than half way. I stood up to get it since it rolled near him but Ashtray bent down slightly and got it for me. He handed it to me then put the blunt back in his mouth. "Thanks" I smiled at him. He just nodded his head slightly while he exhaled again.

He really is pretty.

After a while Leo was tired and wanted to go home and shower. I grabbed my bag and smiled at Ashtray slightly, who just looked at me.

Bro wasn't kidding, he really isn't a peoples person.

15 minutes later

Once we got home Leo ran upstairs to the shower. I went upstairs to make sure he didn't need help with anything. He's still young and needs to be supervised. We don't need anymore surprise shampoo positions.

I walked home thinking about her. I don't know why but I can't seem to get her out of my head since last night. I don't even know her. 

Elara Jean.

i don't like her.

I mean I wanna get to know her. But I don't know, I don't exactly think are vibes match. Fez told me I should try and make more friends when we move and I will but I can't just friends with someone like her. She's always so happy, no one in their right mind should ever be that peppy.
