Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic all stroll down the sidewalk on their way to the nearest Kurger Bing

[Sonic]
Hey Shads what time is it?

[Shadow]
It's 6 in the morning, I ran and we fought all night

[Sonic]
Aw yeah! they're serving breakfast, my favorite at Kuger Bing, I mean it's not like their lunch isn't good but I'd rather go to McJohnald's for lunch, their breakfast is fucking amazing though and when they-

Shadow keeps walking as his blue hedgehog friend rambles on

Shadow gets lost in the blue boys eyes as they light up with excitement and passion about a breakfast food he likes

Shadow subconsciously tilts his head and gives a warm smile after softening his eyes

Sonic stops talking for a minute and his cheeks turn slightly red as he notices Shadow deeply focused on him

[Sonic]
Dude don't look at me like that

Sonic chuckles and gives an awkward flustered smile

Shadow snaps out of his daze and shifts his focus on the sidewalk ahead

[Shadow]
Oh! right sorry

Sonic keeps his head down in embarrassment for rambling

The team reach the establishment and order their food

They sit at a window table with four seats

Shadow sips on a lemonade he ordered while everyone else eats

[Knuckles]
Oh dude this is so fucking good after 7 days of no food

[Shadow]
Speaking of, don't you need like therapy or something? 7 days of torture and stuff wouldn't that traumatize you a bit

[Knuckles]
I've been in so many worse situations, and not to mention I was taught since a child to never break, echidna warrior and all

Shadow goes back to sipping on his lemonade

He notices Sonic repeatedly glancing at him and side winding him

Eventually when Sonic takes a good long stare

Shadow speaks up

Dude what is it?

[Sonic]
Your fur is all tattered, and burned, you look ridiculous
