A year later.
Yes, It has been a year since they've been living together
A year ago they went back to take some valuables that Cale owns and that was the last time he ever stepped on the Henituse Mansion
They proclaimed Cale dead already but still investigate secretly.
Also a year ago when Cale completely understood how to cook.
His book was filled with recipies and memories
Him and Kim Rok Soo are closer than before
They have told each other that one is from another earth and one remembers his past life.
And they both accept it
I mean, it explains everything.
Cale Henituse is no more and is switched to Thames
Of course Cale sometimes calls himself Kim without Kim Rok Soo knowing.
He does not hide it, it's just because the other is very very dense.
They both have been living happily and even knows each others likes and dislikes
Including their birthdays which by the way was the same day.
Cale who is turning 11 and Kim Rok Soo who is turing 713 in dragon years or rather 37.
They both have things planned for each other and no one is allowed to peek.
"You ready?" A disguised dragon asked a disguised human.
"Yep" They both teleport to their usual spot in rain city and explored seperately.
Cale saw some ingredients he needed and bought some.
"Hi, Uncle!" "Oh! If it isn't my favorite buyer! How much flour you need today kid?" "I need 2kg please" "Wow a lot more than usual, Whats the occasion?" Cale smiled "I can't tell you personal information Uncle!" "Hahahah! You got me there! Well here is yours! Stay safe!" "Will do! Thanks Uncle bye!"
Enough flour for his three layer cake.
Kim Rok Soo entered the book store and searched for a new series that Cale would like.
It has 10 volumes and of course for the red head he only wants the best.
"You seem to like books, Young man" "Yeah, reading is fun" "Indeed it is, I hope other people liked books as much as you" it only made him shrug
He immediately left, not wanting to interact anymore.
And of course whats a birthday without a change of clothes?
"Ah" "Ah" They both stumbled upon each other in the boutique they always bought at
"Well if it isn't my regular customers. This way please" They both got seperate rooms for different orders
"You ready?" "Yeah, lets go" Cale said hurridly, struggling from the weight of his cake ingredients
As they both got home the red head directly went to the kitchen and the dragon went to to the library
Yes, they have made a library because the books are overflowing.
They are both big bookworms.
"Gotta start now." They both said in sync from different rooms.
After Cale finished his cake and his surprise inside, he went to knock on the library
"Its time for dinner Ruksoo-nim" "I thought I told you to remove the -nim"
They both then gave each other a paper bag from the same shop and changed in it.
"It suits you" "You too, Ruksoo-nim" he teased making the dragon sigh
They both ate cake for dinner.
Not healthy but they'll have to eat the same cake for days because of how big it is.
"Why'd you bake such a huge cake?" "I don't know, I wanted to experiment"
It is a three layered chocolate cake with a big tree on top with books scattered around as design and green grass for an extra touch
"Is that the world tree?" "Yeah, Eat slowly okay?"
They both know what that means.
As Cale cut a piece from the top part, he gave the one with a surprise inside.
They both ate quietly.

Italic + Bold- KRS
Bold- Glutton
"Whats this?"
Its a tiny ziplock bag with a tiny piece of diamond inside
"Well, should I tell you?"
"Tell me."
"Okay, Its somethings that holds an ancient power"
"What."
"What?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean what I meant."
"Stop playing with me"
"It is what I said though. It holds an ancient power"
"How?"
"I fed it food and it agreed to be in a tiny diamond"
"Its the glutton?"
Cale took a piece of cake and ate it
"Yeah"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. I didn't think it was this easy though"
"I guess?"
"Do you have the ancient power now?"
"No, its still inside that"
"Hey! That cake looks good!"
"It talks?"
"You can hear it too?"
"Yeah, I don't think its normal"
"The only explanation is either its a Thames thing or The Goddess of Death"

They both said in sync
The GoD has always been interfering with their lives.
Now because of some magic they somehow made the Glutton into her soul form
Probably the God of Death again.
"Here is mine" "Yeah, Thanks"
Kim Rok Soo gave Cale his gift.
That night they slept on the bed while the Glutton slept under the World Tree as she said "I haven't seen it since forever!"
The world tree never spoke to them though.
As usual they cuddled.
Just a month ago they talked about it and they have finally established that its okay to anyway.
The Gods sigh
"As they grow older" GoS said
"They talk so dry" GoD added
"I know right? Also how come they only say its Abyss when its all of us?" GoW asked
They all helped in making it possible for Glutton to have her normal apperance back.
"Because they don't know you guys exist"
"Why do you say that so smugly?" The Sun frowned
"Anyway, Its probably because of Kim Rok Soo" "Yeah" "Yeahh"
They all chew on the popcorn as its such a boring episode.
Well on the other hand
The two are satisfied with each others gift.
Now Cale can read more books (with Kim Rok Soo)
And Kim Rok Soo (and Cale) can (both) teach Glutton about the world now.
This day they cuddled each other more closely as an extra gift with a smile on their face.
Maybe one day, they will both realize how they act so much like a father and son.
