"Good evening Mrs D'amico."

"Good evening doctor."

"Let me see mister D'Amico told me you didn't eat or drink for two days." I nodded.

"I need to give you an IV since you are very dehydrated."

"Doctor that will hurt," I flinched, not an IV, please.

"It's a minor sting, it will be over quickly," the doctor tried to reassure me.

"No, it isn't. The needle will stay in my hand for a while. I don't want it doctor, I'll take soup, isn't that right?"

"Unfortunatly, Mrs D'Amico, that won't be enough. Your body needs a quick energy boost, and we have already lost a lot of time, so please let me do this," he said as he tried to give me a smile.

"Doctor no," I put my hand away, as sat up straight.

The doctor looked at Massimo who looked at me as if he could kill me any moment now.

I gulped as he approached me, kneeling down to be on my level of height. He is huge, even when he kneels down he looks like he can kill an entire army.

Those muscles tho. Wait what am I doing again? Bipolar ass Leila.

"Lazaro, continue," Massimo stated. But I shook my head as I made myself as small as possible.

"Leila," Massimo began. His face still serious as he took my hand in his hand.

"It will take less than three seconds, I promise."

"You promise right?" He nodded. I could swear to God that the corner of his lips twitched up. Is he trying to smile? My hearteuu sheeshh calm down!

"Look it's done," the doctor spoke.

"Huh? What? That quick? But I didn't feel anything doctor, how?"

"Because you were lost in mister D'Amico's eyes Mrs D'amico."

That one made me stammer like a car without fuel. "I- I- who- no doctor, wrong - wrong doctor."

Myla bursted out into laughter.

"Leila, you look cute when you stammer," she laughed.

I looked at Massimo slowly, it was as if his anger had eased a bit, but the serious look in his eyes was still there. What can I do to make you laugh you moron, do I need to twerk?

I wouldn't dare.

Oh I do dare. Wait till this IV drop is finished and I will twerk.

You mean you'll fall flat on your face  have you seen how you walk? Like a chicken without a head.

Great comparison.

Thank you.

"Mister D'Amico, I'll take my leave. You know how to remove the IV drip right?" Massimo nodded. "So he will remove it?" I asked as I pointed at Massimo.

"Yes Mrs D'Amico."

"But he isn't a doctor," I murmered.

"He isn't but he has some knowledge about this. And besides, mister D'Amico has been in dangerous situations before, where his men were shot and he removed the bullets himself. Also Mrs D'Amico, mister D'Amico takes courses now and then so I'm sure he can do this." The doctor nodded as he left the room.

"I think I'll make my leave as well. If you two need something let me know, I'm in my room," Myla spoke.

"Thank you Myla," Massimo replied, averting his gaze at me.
