Hunters pov

In edrics room i sat down on his bed tentivly, and Edric flopped down next to me.

"Jeez im tired." Edric sighed, "I wonder when my parents will get back."

"where are they at?" I asked.

"Some buisness meeting probably, want to play monster boss?" Edric said.  looking over at me.

"Always." I grinned.

We played for a few hours untill i had beaten edric 30 to 11

"I give up bro." Edric sighed, "How are you this good?"

"reflexes." I smiled. "want to call it a night?"

"yeah." Edric yawned.

"uhh.. am i sleeping in here?" I asked.

"Ah- if you dont want to we have a guest room."

"No this is fine." I said, adjusting next to him.

Edric smiled face flushing, "Cool, goodnight then."

"Goodnight." I smiled back, pulling the blankets over me.

The lights flicked of and were were both engulfed in darkness.

I had to lay on my stomache so my burns didnt hurt so it was a bit uncomfortable.

If only that was the only thing keeping me up. I grimaced.

Edric. We were friends but he wants a bf, and i want a bf. Maybe we could help each other out?

Early that morning the rain had cleared and my back felt much better.

Edric wasent awake yet but i needed to get back to the owl house as soon as possible, after all eda might be worried.

I opened the large window and flapjck turned to a staff in my hands.

"Thanks ed." I smiled, taking one more look at him, before flying off back over the woods.

The morning air felt amazing i sighed. touching down at the front door.

"Hunter" Hooty shreiked exitedly, "Your aliveeeeeee" with that announcment the bird tube wrapped around me in a smothering hug.

"Ow ow let go!" I choked.

"Hunter?" Eda asked, bursting through the door, still in her nighcloths. "Hey kid! I thought you got caught in the rain, where did you shelter?"

"Actually i did." I said, squrming out of hootys grasp. "Edric helped fix me up though."

"You two are getting close huh." Eda grinned, "well dont just stand ouside kid, come in. Oh, and help yourself to breakfast because im going back to bed."

A few minutes later i was at the table eating eggs when my scroll went off.

Ping

Edric: Where u at?

Hunter: aT HomE

damn caps lock, oh well i would get the hang of it eventually.

Edric: Alright cool :P

Bonus Edrics pov

When i woke up that morning Hunter was gone.

Damn i was kinda hoping he would stick around for a while.

I wonder if he would be interested in hanging out later today..
