(2) Eddie...?

You make your way outside for some well needed air and to see if you could find Eddie,  the music from inside switches to another loud stereo playing a different tune.
You scanned your eyes over the garden to see different crowds of people all dancing and making out.

The loudest group was huddled near tables, they begin to chant something and cheer so you watched them for a bit before people split away, there was Eddie, somehow not with Steve, he was doing a keg stand, and his shirt was wet, he throws his arms up in the air and everyone chants out his name.

You smile seeing him have fun

and  begin to make your way over but before you could your smile faded, your heart sank watching some random girl from the party swing her arms around Eddie's neck, and Kissed him...

Your blood began to boil, clenched fists you was about to continue over there and beat the bitch up,  till you realise Eddie didn't pull away...not straight away. It lasted longer than expected. He was into it...?
You felt sick, like your heart was about to explode, you wasn't even dating Eddie, so he had all right to kiss whoever he wanted, didn't he? 

You turn away and walk off around the back leaving the party your vision becoming cloudy from the tears forming in your eyes, you sat on the curb and just cried into your hands for a few minutes before someone sat next to you.
"You alright?"
They ask, you dry your eyes and look over into their direction 
"Billy?..." 

You ask sniffing from crying so much,
"The one and only"
He adds handing you a beer, you hesitated for a few seconds then decide fuck it, and you take it.
"What are you doing here?"
You ask him
"I don't miss parties, especially shit shows like Harringtons"
He smirks before taking a sip of beer. You just turn your head back and look down into the road and shiver from the cold, you was wearing a jacket but it was kinda thin,
"Here, take this"

Billy said setting his beer on the curb and taking off his signature jacket before laying it over your shoulders leaving him in a white tank top
"Thank you...?"
You reply confused as to why he's being nice, you pull the collar of his jacket over yourself more, his cologne hitting your nose. 
A couple tears still fell from your eyes as you try to dry them away
"Did something happen back there?"
He asks narrowing his eyebrows slightly.
"I dont even know what it was"

You reply getting choked up with more tears beginning to form.
Billy nods slightly and looks down at the road,
Then pulls out a cigarette and lights it before taking a puff

and offering it to you, you look over and without hesitating you took it, breathing in hard you surprised yourself you didn't start coughing, you blew out the smoke and handed it back to him.

"It was my idea to come here"
You say shaking your head.
"I thought it would be fun...but instead I'm crying, sitting on the side of a road,cold, sharing a cigarette with you who for some reason are scarily chill" 
You say looking back up at Billy who smiles and shakes his head a little at your words
"Well hey, you could still be back in that lame ass party drinking cheap ass booze. So
I'm not that bad, right?"
He says with a smirk

"I guess so, yeah."
You smile a little and Billy holds the cigarette to your lips and licks his own, you take another puff while he holds it keeping eye contact.

"Want to get out of here?"
He asks, you look back over at Steves party for a moment before looking at Billy.
You knew what he was like, but in the moment you just didn't care, you wanted to get as far away from the party as you could,  away from Eddie.

"...ok"
You reply with a shaky voice, Billy stands up and holds out his hand which you take and he helps you to your feet.
