Schools been back for a while, finals are coming up which also means graduation...
Being back wasn't going smoothly like you thought, for some reason word quickly got around school about the incident at the lake, which resulted in people whispering things about it, mostly things to do with you as you walked down the halls.
Some lovely people also slipped in some swimming leaflets inside your locker but you quickly brushed it off as high schoolers being dumb as you find a new one inside your locker everyday, but for some reason the lake wasn't just the talk of the day and then forgot and dropped like most things spread around school, it seemed to stick for longer, but you just tried your best to ignore it all and get school finished with.
 

You've been helping Eddie of course with some school work and preparing for finals, but also trying to keep his ass out of trouble keeping his chance of graduating with you safe, he's doing well, so far.

**6am Alarm**

You groan pulling the blanket off your head and hitting your fist down on your alarm clock, stretching your arms and legs kicking off books that still laid out over your bed from last night's studying, Ed was over for a bit but he had to head back to check in with Uncle Wayne.
The only good thing from today was the free 2 hour slot you had, seniors that are about to graduate can have a lot more free time and free periods if they’ve completed most of their classes required to graduate.

So it was obviously spent with Eddie who thanks to you also got free time from class, chilling out in one of the music rooms.
Tired as hell from all the revision work you dragged yourself out of bed to start getting ready for school, quick shower and change then doing your normal makeup of just eyeliner and mascara
"...Thank GoD for eyeliner"
You say out loud to yourself as you look in the mirror checking how even they came out,the eye makeup made you look somewhat awake which you needed today.

**walkie crackles**
"Good morning(yawns),love"
Said Eddie's sleepy voice coming out of it, you smile and reach for the walkie over on the other side of your vanity
"Morninggg,you sleep alright?"
You reply back into it,
"I slept great! How about you
y/n"
Another voice replied...you smiled shaking your head and put your hairbrush down spinning around on the stool with the walkie in hand
"Morning Dustinnnn"
You say walking over to the closet

"Henderson, it's rude to listen in on adult conversations, kindly buzz off"
Eddie replies jokingly making you laugh
"I'd like to remind you, SIR that it was I who gave you this talking device, therefore I can come and go as I pleeease on this line"
Dustin replied in a posh attempt at a British accent
"....So, what were you wearing lastnight. y/l/n"
Eddie replied trying to make Dustin uncomfortable, who made a type of "ughh" sounds into the walkie

"Alright alright cut it out I'll leave, are you still picking me up?"
Dustin asked, the line stayed quiet for a while which made you giggle knowing Ed was leaving Dustin hanging on purpose
"Eddie...Eddie?,...am I biking again?...Eddd?...are you doing the thing where you hear me but you just don't reply, should I take that as a yes I'm picking you up Henderson...? (Dustins mom calling him for breakfast)
...well, see you in a few! Or not"
"Later Dusty"
You replied throwing the walkie on your bed and putting on a different shirt you picked out instead.

"...I'll pick you up in 15, that ok?"
Eddie says not long after Dustin got called away, picking up the walkie again
" Sounds good, see you then"
You respond shoving papers and books in your backpack then heading downstairs straight for the kitchen, grabbing two cereal bars from the cupboard and a bottle of coke from the fridge, hearing music blasting you headed out closing the door behind you, the music stops and Eddie gets out of the van jogging over to you, you walk down the porch steps and Ed spins around draping his arm over your shoulder walking you to his van

You say putting a cereal bar
