So, here's the epilogue everyone! This is set 15 instead of ten years in the future, and after this I am going to post some Special Chapters. Anyways, here it is!
"Babe, where are you?" I called, walking towards the living room. Or, more accurately, waddling towards the living room.
The surgery obviously worked when I was fifteen. The brain tumor was removed and I was monitored for about a month after, and then I was free to go home. Cassandra ended up being sent to jail for assault, and then placed in a mental institution because she had a disorder. She did wind up apologizing, but I'd already forgiven her by then.
Because she's the one that pushed me to find the person I love. I wound up marrying Justin four years ago, and I was seven months' pregnant with our second child. A daughter we were going to name Hanna, after Karla's mom.
Our first child was a three year old boy, Dustin. Justin is the one who named him, thinking it would be funny if their names rhymed.
Karla and Josh actually wound up marrying each other, and have two kids of their own: Carl and Olivia, who are four year old twins. They live just down the street from us, which comes in handy when either of us need a babysitter.
I wound up going to college to be a counselor for teenagers, and I mostly have teenage girls as patients that are struggling with eating disorders. They definitely relate better to me because I know exactly what they go through every day.
Jusitn is a pediatric oncologist, and loves every single second of his job. He also relates to the kids because he had cancer and can tell them exactly what they want to know.
Karla and Josh are both doctors at the hospital, but Karla specializes in newborns and Josh specializes in spinal surgeries. We all work at the hospital, and our kids are with each other at the daycare pretty much every day.
"I'm in the kitchen!" Justin called, snapping me out of my daydream. "What's up?"
He walked into the living room and gave me a quick kiss on the forehead. "We need to go to the ultrasound," I reminded him, moving towards the front door.
"Alright, let's go." We hopped in the car and drove to the hospital.
"Karla, you ready?" I asked my best friend, getting on the examination table. Oh yeah, Karla also does ultrasounds.
"Yup, let's get this started," she grinned, spreading the gel on my stomach. "Oh, hang on. It looks like something different."
"Is everything okay?" Justin asked, squeezing my hand tightly.
"Ah, that's what it is. Congratulations, you two are actually having twins!"
"Oh my God, this is amazing! I love you so much," I told Justin, giving him a short kiss before we finished up the appointment.
Short and sweet! That's officially the end, everyone. Special chapters will be posted over the next few days!
Thank you all so much supporting me!
Xoxo <3
