"....our situation" Angelica replies
Our situation. Is this what our relationship had become?. A situation.
"Well ok then, I want you and Adriana to move back in with me. That's my next move" I state
"Not gonna happen" she replies blankly
"Your the one who said the next move is on me, this is my next move" I reply
"Not gonna happen" she repeats again
"Then I don't know what you want from me Angelica" I spit back at her
" Your the one who waltzed your way back into my life, your the one who reached out. So how come you don't know what to do?" She slightly raises her voice at me cautious not to wake our daughter.
Our daughter I love the sound of that.
"I told you what I want by your the one who refuses to follow my plan" I fire back
"Your plan is bullshit" she responds bitterly
"Well you plan is no existent so you can't comment" I say while running my hair through my hair
"This is why we didn't work out, this is exactly why, you can't see any other point of view but your own, your still as selfish as you were before, even worst if you ask me. We have a daughter now, you need to be a responsible father. You can't just uproot her whole life just because you want what's best for you. You don't matter anymore. She should be your top priority." She's yelling now but not loud enough to wake Adriana.
"She is my top priority. She needs to be in a stable home, with a stable family. I can offer her that. We can offer her that. Be a good mother and see that by moving in with me you can give her the best life possible" I respond back looking Angelica straight in her eyes
"You think you can give her a stable home? Our current relationship is far from stable. It's a mess. I am a good mother and that's why I know that until you and I can have a normal conversation we cannot move in with you because otherwise it will damage us all beyond repair." She cries with tears beginning to stream down her face.
"Our situation can only be solved if you let me in. You and I both know that no matter how hard I will try to resolve this between us, my efforts will be useless unless you accept the fact that I changed and you forgive me. We can't have a stable anything without trust. " I whisper back attempting to stop he tears
"I know that it will be hard, I caused you more pain than joy. But I promise you from this day on I'm a changed man. For you and our daughter. You deserve much better than me, but I beg you give me a chance to show you that you belong with me, that you and I are soulmates for eternity and beyond.
