Streams converge
To make a mighty river.
So can it be
When we all pull together.
But a nation divided
Isn't nearly as strong.
For this nation to prosper
We all need to get along.
We need to stop the pettiness.
Don't focus on the superfluous.
Stop letting the nefarious
Politicians divide us.
We need to stick together.
Show them the people matter.
That we've grown tired
Of their self-serving chatter.
The good of the country
Is what we should care about.
If they don't listen
We need to vote them out.
