I told them to put me first. I went in and saw three women and two men. Yes, we give ladies equal opportunities. We give those people a chance who are capable and are really in need of a job. I know they won't mess up with anything or they will lose this great chance of having a stable income for their whole family.

Anyways I let them know that Ameera is talented and to consider giving her a chance. During interview time, I asked them about their life and they told me how they were grateful for this corp as it helped them immensely with money issues for their whole family. It brought me great joy knowing my family can help other families. I thanked Allah SWT for making me and my family capable enough to help others.

After the interview time got over I went outside and saw Ameera standing there. I gave her a big smile encouraging her to get done with the interview. I waited for her for around 20-25 minutes when she walks out with a big smile on her face. I was relieved that they gave her a chance that I know she deserves and won't disappoint us with.

We went to an Indian restaurant to have lunch. We ordered south-style chicken curry. Man their food is to die for. It's so spicy and has so many flavors. Just what we needed to celebrate.

After having lunch we went to the park for some walking. There we met Nina and her baby cousin bro, Andrew. Ya Allah, that little guy is so mischievous and very cute. Masha Allah! He knows how to make everyone do whatever he wants. I noticed him being very close with Ameera. Then Nina told how they have met before and how Ameera handled him. I was proud of her. Many people don't understand that we have to be very gentle with kids. Being aggressive and violent with them will only make the situation worse. If we hear them out and talk to them about everything calmly, then they will understand that we can solve things calmly and violence or aggression is not required.

Anyways I got to know little Andrew a bit more but the fact that he was closer with Ameera remained. Honestly, I was okay with it cause I know Ameera will handle him well. After having ice cream, I dropped them at their house.

I reached home and changed my clothes to comfortable clothes. I was going through my Instagram when Taskeen entered my room.

I glanced at her and remembered what we spoke about this morning.

"I'm sorry Tas I forgot to ask Ameera if she was free this week. Give me two minutes I'll text her right now and ask her" I felt guilty that I told her I would ask and I forgot.

"It's alright bro. How was the interview? Not yours but her of course" she winked at me knowing it would make me agitated but I was too happy to care. >.<

"It went great. They all were impressed with her. I knew for sure she wouldn't disappoint us" I said happily.

"Well, I'm happy for you both. Now all you have to do is let her know your real identity. After that is over, you have to ask her hand for marriage before anyone gets the chance to" she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

I rolled my eyes at her but thought about how she is beautiful, intelligent, and innocent. Then I remembered how guys would line up for her and the first one would be that 'Zaid' guy. This made me a bit angry. The fear of losing her is going to remain till I make her mine.

After me not replying, Taskeen got up saying "you must be tired. Go have something to eat then pray and sleep" she left me alone with my thoughts.

I got up did wudu and did my prayer. While making Dua I asked Him to grant me a partner who would remind me of Him, who would help me strengthen my deen and Imaan, who will hold my hand in Jannah.

I had a quick bite because I was still full from lunch. I texted Ameera asking if she was free this week and that Taskeen wanted to hang out with her. She replied saying she was free this Friday and would like Taskeen to join her for Salatul Jumu'ah. I was happy that my sister will be having a good friend to hang out with and maybe learn a thing or two from Ameera.

I slept with a silly smile on my face that day. Well, tomorrow is our official day as interns. In Shaa Allah everything will go smoothly...
