Chapter 6: Graduating From High school I

"I can't believe you lost them" the man from the second floor of the building shouts at the two men downstairs.

The two guys who followed John are back to the headquarters and their boss is really angry at them for not being able to get the boy.

"I'm sorry brother but the boy is good" the first guy says as he pants.

"Ohh come on Yousef how can a teenager outsmart you" the boss complains.

"I'm sorry but please give me a second chance"

"Are you crazy or you think this is a joke you blew our cover and you are asking for a second chance. Well it's not your fau-" the boss was interrupted by the ringing of his phone.

"Hello, Sting speaking" he answers

"It's Mr Harry, do you have him?"the man on the phone who apparently is Mr Harry asks.

"I'm sorry sir,this stupid brother of mine couldn't do the job. B-but trust me I'm gonna get some other person to do it without errors" the boss(Sting) says as he stammers.

"What the hell man, I told you he won't be able to do it but you kept on backing him up saying he was good now look what he has done. And for your information you have to know how to get this done and prevent this from getting back at us. You've got one month else you know what the outcome will be." Mr Harry shouts at the top of his voice and he ends the call without waiting for a response.

Apparently, the huge man that John first saw whose name is Yousef is a brother to the boss,sting. They both work together but he is like a sidekick to Sting who does most of the physical work. Yousef is lazy and dumb per say. But Sting thought this case Mr Harry gave him wouldn't be that difficult so he decides to leave Yousef to handle it but well it didn't go well after all.

John and Maya finally reaching the police station with John carrying her because she couldn't walk any longer. As they enter they move straight to Uncle Pete's office and he becomes alert on seeing them.

"What happened Johnny" he says standing in confusion.

John narrates the what happened and Maya was taken to the hospital. A file was opened for the case and John writes a statement of the incident then investigation begins. Uncle Pete asks him to describe the guy he saw, he knows how his body was but he didn't see his face so he isn't able to describe his face. But he remembers something.

"Oh yeah I heard him call the person he was talking to on the phone 'sting'." He spits.

"Okay I'll see what I can do, so for now just be calm" he says patting John on the back.

John then goes back home to change some clothes and then went back to the hospital where Maya was admitted. John meets her unconscious and her knee has been tied up. On seeing that he starts to panic his pulse increasing and he could feel a lump in his throat and then the tears started rolling down his cheeks but the doctor informed him that it was just some injections they gave her. He meets the Doctor but he says he needs to speak to an adult. John then runs back home,meets his Ma on the couch.

"Hey Ma" was the first thing that comes out of his mouth as he sits closer to her.

"Johnny how are you. Hope everything is fine cause when you entered the house before you didn't even look for me and you left again. Come on tell me what's wrong" she sounds pathetic and worried also.

He narrates what happened in a concise form and she starts to panic. This is what John has been avoiding.

"Don't worry Ma I've gone to Uncle Pete and he's looking into the case" he says trying to calm her down.
