What if there was a world just like ours? But what if this world evolved differently? What if it evolved better? Aea Rain lives what is to her a normal life. She has two parents, an older sister at university, a best friend that lives a train ride away, an ex that she wishes had never moved away. And, like any other fifteen-year-old, she goes to school, where she learns math and chemistry and geography and, of course, Magical Control and Safe Use. Because Aea is magical and, with magic, anything can happen... right? Well, it could, if Aea could just figure out how to use her powers, right now she's on the verge of failing her magic class and her anxiety seems to be getting worse and worse. But all of that would be manageable, if she hadn't met a stranger in the woods on the way home from school. There's something odd about Jason right from the beginning. He doesn't seem to understand the language of Aea's country, Reverie, only speaking an old, banned tongue called English. And when she finally finds a way to communicate with him, he tells her he's from Earth, a place Aea's never heard of. Lost and dropped into Reverie by accident, Jason is on a mission to find his way home and, somewhere along the lines, Aea became a part of that. Running around across the country, Jason and Aea find out Reverie is not the country she thought it once was and, with her growing feelings for this boy she barely knows, Aea sent on a rollercoaster of a ride.

My entry into the Shaw Rocket Fund Contest. Dunno if I should give this a blurb, or if I'm supposed to just let the 1500 words speak for themselves. So... guess I'll leave it. Just wanna quickly point out that cover, though. That's some nice MS Paint art, don't you think? Took me longer than it should have, but hey, you can't rush perfection.

My entry for the #ShawRocketFundContest. They say when you dream you meet your soulmate. This is true, and a high school senior struggles with identifying the loving person who visits her in her dreams.

After that and with flick with his index finger, he taped in the forehead of his little sister, who was staring at him with blank look on her face, After some time she lost all her consciences, shutting her eyes calmly. "Youngster, don't worry about her, I will make sure she will get the best life any girl will dream of, after all she was my lucky charm." Putting his little sister on the ground, with calm expression, shifting his eyes that filled with hatred and murderous intent, to the being who forced him to this situation. In the end he just greeted his teeth saying. "Now that you get what you want, let me tell you that, one day you will regret everything that happened here for the rest of your life." When communications returned, the inhabitants of each planet refused to change and work under one government. This mindset changed in 2235, during the first alien attack. The humans learned that there was an alien group set on wiping out humanity for good. They also learned of an underground project called the Legendary program. A program that uses children to make super-soldiers. It was because of the super-soldiers that humanity survived the first attack. But in the following years, the Legends are dying. It becomes clear that the human's need to end this war or face extinction. At the same time, people are starting to question the products of these human experiments. Jade Ryder, aka NightStorm, was an enhanced soldier separate from the Legendary soldiers. She was just as dangerous as them but appeared more human-like. Unfortunately, her enhancements came with a deadly price. NightStorm always worked alone. It was safest for everyone. Her entire world is thrown into chaos when she is paired with a Legendary soldier, Ethan-008. Even worse, she is forced to go against her government to try and end a war against the Legion, a group of aliens races determined to eliminate humanity. The more she pushed towards a solution, the more she learns her people arent entirely innocent and the more she wonders if humanity is worth saving. NightStorm has to find a way to end the war before humanity is killed and before her own body gives out.
