Percy runs up behind me and throws me over his shoulder. I laugh as he carries me across the school yard. It's been two years since the accident...and we graduate in three days. Though all of our physical injuries have healed...the nightmares of the accident still haunt us. The scar on my leg will fade, but never truly leave me. As will the scar on my heart from almost losing Percy. He has become a part of me. A part in which I can not live without.
Finally he puts me down and we sit together in the grass. And by the way Percy looks down at me, I can tell he feels the same. There's no one between heaven and earth who could separate us now.........
