Look up at the setting sun,
It's been a long time since I've felt her kiss
She promised me when I was young,
That one day she will grant my wish
By making her my only one,
Then giving her a sapphire ring
And that I will be granted her love,
If loving her, truly, I will

But I haven't been a faithful man
Though she's shown me more than I could raise
Now I only feel the fight we've had,
And I haven't seen the sun in days
Oh, how I wish that I could bring it back,
When our love was warmer than a blaze,
Before I lost my other half,
Before I've become a man who strays

Now I'm surrounded by my regrets,
And everything I should've said
Forgetting my empty threats,
I should've loved her instead
I'm afraid of all the silhouettes,
And the possibilities ahead
I'll never earn their respect,
But I can still prove to them

I'll swim through the deepest sea,
In the darkest night, I'll stay awake
If tomorrow she still loves me,
There won't be a thing that I can't take
But if she doesn't forgive me,
For her future happiness' sake
I will swallow my heartache,
Awaiting her through daybreak

'Cause, maybe when the next day comes,
When the dawn gently kisses her face
She'll remember how it was,
How she got lost in my warm embrace
I'll be counting every falling star
I'll wait for her through my mistakes
'Til she grants pardon to my scars,
Until the day I see you, Grace
