CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

"Well, can I dance with you, Shein?" Alexus suddenly asked.

Napatingin naman ako kay Joellen na nakangiting tumango-tango.

Napailing nalang ako at sumama kay Alexus sa gitna.

"Ba't ang ganda mo ngayon, Shein?" He suddenly asked kaya napairap nalang ako.

"Hmm. Thanks?" Natawa naman siya sa sinagot ko.

"Shein, is it true?" He asked again.

"What?" I confusedly asked too.

"Aizer... Is he really courting you?" Napatingin naman ako sa kaniya dahil sa tanong niya pero agad ring napaiwas ng tingin.

"So it's true." I heard him mumbled.

"You know what, Shein. I liked you." He said which made me glance confusedly at him.

"Well, I started to liked you, I think it was the first day of class, when I saw you. Remember, when you bumped at me?" Natawa naman siya sa sinabi niya.

"That was were I had an interest in you." He added.

"You said 'liked'." I said and he just smiled.

"Yup." Nakangiti niyang sagot habang malayo ang tingin.

Sinundan ko ang tingin niya at nakita kong nakatingin siya sa table namin kung saan nakaupo si Joellen na kumaway pa sa amin.

"I guess my hunch are right." I stated and look at him.

"Don't make her cry or I will buried you alive." Seryosong sabi ko sa kaniya, natawa lang naman siya at umiling.

Matapos ang kanta at agad nag palit ng bago kaya nag decide kami na bumalik na.

Pero bago pa man kami maka-alis sa gitna ng madaming taong sumasayaw ay biglang may sumalubong sa amin.

"Can I have this dance?" Nakangiting sabi niya habang nakalahad ang kanang kamay sa harapan ko.

"Well..." Nakangiting ibinigay ni Alexus ang kamay ko at agad nagpaalam.

Napatingin naman ako sa taong nasa harapan ko ngayon.

"Hi." He smiled and put my hands on his shoulders.

"You're so gorgeous tonight." He said with a smile on his face.

I don't know what will I react. I was just looking at him straight in the eyes.

He's wearing a mask but I can fully recognize him. He's fierce eyes are looking at me too. He's features are all fabulous. He's indeed more handsome tonight.

We were just staring to each other while my hands on his shoulders and his hands are on my waist, slowly moving our body at the middle of the people who's also having slow dance with their partners.

"How did you recognize me?" I suddenly asked.

"Hmm, I don't know. Maybe my heart recognize its owner." Sagot niya naman.

Napairap naman ako which made him chuckled.

"Shein... Would you believe me if I say I don't like you anymore?" He suddenly asked which made me confused.

What the hell did he just asked? My chest suddenly feel heavy after I heard those words.

He uttered those words with his serious cold voice and face.

"W-what are you saying." I muttered enough for him to hear.

I'm still confused. And my chest feels heavy.

"Would you believe me if I say I don't like you anymore?"

At talagang inulit pa.

I suddenly stopped at coldly stare at him. My chest feels a lot heavier.
