Perfectly pique

Perfectly pique

"Nobody is perfect"
Yet annoyingly they are-
But the fact perfection is annoying may seem bizarre

A contradiction
A false depiction
Yet - it is true

Your perfect life:
Perfect grades
Perfect hair
Perfect style...
Miss Perfect

Your perfection is pique, yes you are perfect, as a construct, a stereotype
You are the perfect stereotype;

"I'm not like the others" you repeat in your mind, beaming your malice smile. Just to hide the callous your "perfection" has been creating for the longest while.

When your perfection is renowned,
My best is negatively profound

I will never be you.
To mediocrity I am bound.
