This is just a short bit I wrote. I'm not posting it on a Saturday cause it's kinda short but I still think it's pretty good.

"Why can't I be normal Gaius?" Merlin said, close to tears.

"I don't know my boy."

"Mother raised me to be normal. She helped me push my magic down when I was out of control, but she isn't here Gaius!"

"You're strong Merlin. You-"

"That's just it Gaius! There's no one else out there who was born with what I have, or what I am. A monster."

"No. Merlin, never let yourself think that."

"But it's true! The gods can shove their destiny up their large divine-"

"Merlin!"

Merlin sighed, "Sorry Gaius. It's just that's, sometimes I feel like I'm crumbling under the weight of it all. I never wanted this. I want to live a normal life. I want to get married, have children, grow old. Not just watch everyone I love live their lives and then die. I'm going to outlive them all. Forever."

"Oh Merlin, I'm sorry I can't understand this burden of yours fully."

There's a silence before Merlin starts to tear up.

"I just want to be normal Gaius. Is that really so much to ask?" his voice cracks and he sounds so broken and in despair.

"I'm so sorry my boy. I'm so sorry."

Sadly this is the end, poor Merlin.
