PLUNDERER CHIC (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Tumango lang ako at agad na pumasok naman sa loob ng kwarto ko.

I sat in the couch and played some music on my iPad.

No one texted me 'til now except Joellen who were asking why I haven't attended our classes.

Kaya pala I haven't received any message from Ice or Alexus kasi we're all out from school.

Instead of minding such things, tinawagan ko nalang si paps.

We did talked about the treasure we retrieved last night and so the corpse of Gwalior Sharman who was in the news this morning.

"Good job Elsh... Sorry for the sudden request." Paps said.

"No it's okay, just call us when you have something for us to do for you." I calmly replied and walked towards the window.

"Thank you Elsh. See you soon." Masayang sabi ni paps before he ended the call.

Nangunot naman ang noo ko dahil sa huling sinabi niya. But I didn't mind it at ibinulsa nalang ang phone ko.

I just looked at the sky for I don't know how many minutes bago ako bumalik sa kama ko.

It's almost three in the afternoon kaya hindi ako inaantok. Kahit, mag hihihiga ako ay di ako makatulog.

"Ano na kayang ginagawa nila ngayon."  Tanong ko sa sarili.

I'm sure hindi lang horse back riding ang ginagawa nila doon.

I feel a bit boredom kaya lumabas ako ng kwarto ko.

I changed my simple dress to a floral sleeveless dress that is above the knees infront but below the knees at the back, and two inches sandals.

I don't feel like going to the pool area because of what happened earlier.

Kaya nag libot-libot nalang ako. As far as I know may garden sila dito and playground para sa mga kids.

After minutes of wandering around, I found the garden area. May mga food stall rin na malapit and tables also benches.

Naupo ako sa isang mahabang bench when my phone suddenly rung. When I saw the caller's iD ay agad ko itong sinagot.

"Shein! My gosh, buti naman sinagot mo na ang tawag ko." Bungad agad nong tumawag.

"Hmm? What's the matter, Elle?" Tanong ko naman.

"Wala lang. Three days ka na kasing hindi pumapasok." Sagot niya naman.

"I've sent my excuse letter to our profs, since my emergency akong pinuntahan." Sabi ko naman sa kaniya.

I heard her sighed and napatingin naman ako sa mga dumadaan sa harapan ko. Most of them are couples. Tsk.

"When ka naman papasok?" Dinig kong tanong niya.

"Monday." I just simply answered.

"Sure yan ha. May bago pala tayong mga projects. I'll send you the details tomorrow baka kasi may madagdag later or bukas." Sabi niya naman.

"Okay, thanks Elle."

"No worries. Take care. I'll hung up na kasi nandito na si sir." Sabi niya bago ibaba ang tawag.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at ibinaba ang phone.

"Excuse me?"

Napalingon naman ako sa right side ko nang may nagsalita.

"Hmm?" I gave her a question look.

"Can I sit here?" Nakangiti niyang sabi at tumango naman ako.

"Thanks." She just smiled and sat beside me.
