His class was small that year. He only had three students.
The first was Panda, a mutated Cursed Corpse created by the principal. Panda was naturally calm and upbeat, and would usually go along with Satoru's antics without missing a beat.

The second was Toge Inumaki, a boy from the Inumaki clan who inherited the rare and powerful Cursed Speech technique. He was a slim boy with pale blonde hair and purple-colored eyes. That year he chose to wear a muffler to cover the lower half of his face. The boy was still getting used to limiting his speech since his power had grown enough that all action words would trigger it. By covering the lower half of his face, he was reminding himself to not speak without pulling the muffler down.

Last, and certainly loudest, was Maki Zen'in. An athletic teenage girl with long black hair and golden eyes. Despite being born from one of the three major clans, Maki was not a Sorcerer and had to rely on specially created glasses to see Cursed Spirits, and her raw talent in martial arts.
