Ari stood in front of a grand Korean housing gate. It was a traditional hanok, modernised with elegance and sophistication in a way that made Ari shiver in delight. She'd never seen such a place, even in the magazines she'd read, with such fantastic wooden architecture and open space living. "Please follow me in, Ari-ssi. Let me show you around your new home."

Breathing in the magnitude of the world she'd stepped into, Ari walked down the halls of a perfectly structured house, rooms spreading as far as the eye could see. With little open spaces in the middle, Ari marvelled at the little ponds embedded amidst the lawn space.

"This is the general abode," Mr Emerson explained pointing towards the first few sets of rooms near the entrance, "The Royal Family entertains guests and important meetings in the rooms here. It comes fully stocked with a kitchen and staff to help along the way. As long as you notify them," he introduced her to the three people working there, dressed in black beautiful uniforms, "They will make sure to prepare as requested."

Ari nodded, slightly intimidated by the warm welcome. With servants bowing and greeting in every direction they went, Ari truly came to realise the contract she'd signed. Mr Emerson stopped in his steps at the intersection that divided the residence in two. Pointing to the left, he spoke, "Here, further down the area is the King's hall. Each royal family member is supplied with a library, a study room, a powder room, a bedroom, a recreational free space and a guest room. The Second Prince Chan has his lodging right next to the King's as is often the case with the youngest."

It was grand, to say the least. Ari secretly wondered how Prince Chan was, having been the youngest to the throne, loved and cared the most but given little responsibility. They were not very different in age and Ari wondered if she could make a friend out of him.

Mr Emerson turned to the right, "The entire right-wing used to primarily belong to the Crown Prince," he explained, "But now that you'll be considered a candidate, we will be situating your residence in the far end of this hallway."
