"Of course. That's how children of parents should feel. No matter how old" Vesper said "So think about what that says about your mother and don't forget the card. Call it and they'll help you"
Mori pulled Vesper away as the cops were now planning to talk to the kid
"...Thank you! Creepy nee chan!"
"He called me creepy. How nice of him" Vesper said while stroking the cat "Hey! They forgot about the cat's box!"
"Forget it! We'll adopt it instead" Mori sighed "Let's adopt it"
"I agree" Vesper kept walking
"Well that was quiet the scene" Kyoya said as he just stayed back and watched "The tea is ready by the way"
"What should we name the kitten?" Vesper asked
Kyoya looked at the grey cat "...Ash"
"...It's a white kitten. Just filled with dust" Vesper said
"Then.. Bones?"
Vesper looked back down as the little boy's older relatives have been called, his grandmother had arrived ".. This kitten will be Akuma. He will be a great fighter one day"
(Time skip)
"Here" Mori gave Vesper some strawberries as they sat across from eachother
"Huh? Vesper you like strawberries?" Hikaru asked while he and Kaoru played with the kitten Vesper brought
"...Well... Yeah" Vesper shyly looked away but ate the strawberries "A little shameful but I like this fruit"
"..You're shy about that?" Kaoru asked
"It was nice of you to help that kid Vesper. I felt a bit bad for him to have to stay with such a mother but I never knew it was that bad" Haruhi said
"The child will one day learn to reek havock and seek revenge with his new found strength... But not now. The child needs love" Vesper said
"By the way. Since when did you start getting uh.. rough with playing with sharp objects?" Tamaki asked
"Oh when I was just a baby. I even had a wonderful knife crib" Vesper said "Had a wonderful childhood learning more from my parents, fighting, torturing, however I was not deprived of love. All the things they did they know I'm ok with. My parents almost never do something I would hate"
"So how did they react when you asked to go here?" Honey asked
"They were sad and asked me of course. They had to ask twice if I was really sure and despite them not wanting it. They let me go here and even found Uncle Suoh's school for me" Vesper said
*Meow!*
"Oh dear. I forgot I just picked you up. You probably haven't eaten yet" Vesper picked up the kitten from Hikaru's hold "Sorry. Haruhi is there a pet store here?"
"Yeah.. it's near the supermarket. Wait for me. I'll actually be going there myself" Haruhi said
(Time skip)
Vesper went on ahead anyways without Haruhi because the kitten was hungry "Hello excuse me. Where is the food for kittens?"
"Ah what is that smell? Give your cat a bath" The employee said
"I just picked him up from the street"
"Should've left him on the street. We also have cats and puppies here. Why don't you buy them?" The employee asked
"Why I'd love to. I can not keep them in a place where they are not loved. How could you work in such a place when you do not have an ounce of sympathy for this kitten?" Vesper rolled her eyes "Pathetic"
"Oh please. The dogs and cats here are pure bred. They were well taken care of by the other employee. They're clean. And not dying like that smelly kitten of yours" The employee said
(Outside)
Ranka, Haruhi's father is walking by to get back home when he heard a loud commotion at the pet store. He didn't want to go in but paused a bit and saw a girl putting an employee in a cage
(Time skip)
"What happened?" Tamaki looked as they all stand outside the pet shop as apparently cops were called
"...This is your friend Haruhi?" Ranka asked Haruhi
"....She's a nice person..." Haruhi said
The employee was apparently the one who strikes first and for some reason. Vesper is still not being taken by the police
"Senpai. I am glad to inform you that I have adopted all the animals in this pet store and all the items in this pet store. Rest assured I will take full responsibility" Vesper said
"I don't mind. We have a big property anyway" Mori said. The pet store only sell a handful of animals since it was mainly items for animals instead of actual animals
So now Vesper has 5 kittens, 2 dogs, 2 birds, and 18 fishes
