Agni's story ~kingo

Together

Agni had finally had the chance to be happy, to be not hurting herself or anyone else, on her own. so that's what she did. After ikaris had rudely told her it wouldn't be good for brelione to be exposed to her, he basically kicked her out of her home.

agni didn't care, but she had no where to go.

One day, she had taken a rest in a small town, and was going through her drawings. only to be met with a drawing of what she remembered as her and kingo.
It looked like a temple, protecting the love the two had.

she had closed her eyes, and thought so hard about it, only hoping to dream of such a perfect place, but when her eyes opened it was right infront of her

a beautiful, abandoned temple, she didn't know where it was located, but she didn't care. Because this place felt to her the same that japan did. It was now her new home

for many more years agni would reside here, she'd wonder off sometimes, meeting all sorts of people, people that were famous, people that were hero's. She often thought how, they were the real hero's, without the eternals the deviants would've take over, killing all of the humans, and other life.

They never got credit for the real work that they did, the hero's fix the aliens, the eternals save the world ten times over and over again.

The eternals don't get happy lives, The eternals didn't get to settle, have kids, be happy after the bad guys are gone.

But agni still watched the hero's on the news, and once Iron man, and captain America were gone, she knew the world needed new hero's, and the Eternals would rise again soon.

One day, she sat outside her beautiful temple, drawing away.
It was a day she had woken up from a dream, and this time, a good dream

it was of kingo, and what life would be like if they had a kid together. A baby, with kingo. that's all she could ever think about, she knew she couldn't physically birth a child
she wasn't made that way
but to raise a child with kingo, would be the greatest thing she's ever accomplished

So she sat outside, drawing what it would be like to hold a baby.
Hold a baby in her hands, with kingo wrapped around her shoulders. smiling, laughing, happiness.

All of that emotion into a drawing.
And suddenly, a group of people emerged from the wooded area around her temple

and the first person she saw was him, her love, her home.
She was at a loss for words, he had slipped from her grasp so easily, there is no way he's here without a fight

It was like an illusion, an illusion from arishem to punish her again.
But he hadn't punished her in so long, he was at rest, at peace, he wouldn't hurt her now, she had done nothing wrong.

"Love," he smiled, his arms open wide. She was like a deer in head lights, frozen in disbelief. She knew it wasn't an illusion by arishem, arishems illusions always get the space between his eyes wrong, either to close or too far

She knew it wasn't sprites, sprite always messed up his smile, because sprite didn't do that much.
The headlights turned off and the deer stepped forward. She could tell the others were there too, everyone, she was the last to arrive to this party.

But she felt as if a body or two were missing, at this point she had no care in the world. A few feet away from her, was the love she longed for, for many years

and he was stepping forward too, like something out of the many romance movies she's watched in her solitude.

And then their bodies collided, he held her as if he never had held her before, it's like he hadn't, those years apart made this one feel like two puzzle pieces collided, and a beautiful picture was formed.

they stayed, collided in this, hug, for what felt like the years they had been apart.
"Agni, we've been apart too long" he said, kissing her head over and over again. "You could've come found me, Mr. movie star" she laughed

"You know where i've been all these years havnt you? why didn't you just visit me?" he spun her around, and pulled her in.
"it just makes the reunion all the more sweeter" she whispered, as he leaned down and kissed her

the fire works set off around them, and not just figuratively.
Her emotions worked up, with his arms around her, and her power set off the fire works around her head as she kissed him

"okay okay mush fest is over" sprite said, pushing them apart.
Agni smiled, hugging sprite, surprisingly earning a hug back.
and then that's when agni got a good look at the group

Ikaris, brelione, druig, all together, much to her surprise once again. Sprite, sersi, makkari, together aswell
phastos, surprisingly, worried as to why he's left his family.
and thena

where was gilgamesh? where had he gone? where had he disappeared too? The man who had been like a father to sweet agni, given advice, given a home.

"Where is gilgamesh?"

the world went quiet

"he was killed" Thena said, not making eye contact with anyone.

"by what" she asked, stepping backwards slowly

"a deviant, or a human, i don't know, he could heal, he could shapeshift, he-"

"henry" Agni said, clenching her fists

"i have henry those powers, the night-"

'the night you slept with druig'

Brelione signed, like it meant nothing to her now

"you what?" kingo asked, turning to druig.
"Kingo we were drunk, she was upset, she-"

Kingo wasn't listening, he swung

he hit druig in the face, knocking him down, and he was on the ground. Kingo turned to agni, cupping her face in his hands
"it's not your fault that your powers were stolen from you," kingo said, kissing her head
"and i'm not angry, not at you, not at druig, but i've been wanting to punch him in the face for a long time"

agni laughed, hugging kingo
"so, why have we all reunited?"

"ajaks dead, and the world is ending"
