Agni's story ~kingo

same sky

agni sat in the rain
the drops fell down her face
she wondered why brelione was sad, and if ikaris hurt her
the rain pattered against her cheeks as she looked towards the sky
she felt at peace in the rain

her eyes closed, and when they did her stomach twisted and turned
a loud roll of thunder shook the forest, disturbing agnis peace
she felt her throat closing,
bam
her lungs were collapsing
crash
her ribs stubbed into her skin
bam
and she was hunched over dry heaving
bam
she couldn't breath
zap
now lightning

druig rushed out of the house, kneeling to her side
"shh agni, it's okay" he pulled her into a hug
in, out
in, out
in, out
the world was spinning

the trees danced a hundred miles an hour
hurricane? no, they wernt near water
tornado? they lived in the middle of a forest
something horrible was brewing in the sky
someone had hurt brelione and the whole world was experiencing this earth quaking storm
or maybe it was just here, and brelione was mad at them

druig held agni to his chest, "breath" he said, rubbing her back
he grabbed her hand, squeezing it four times
'i'm right here'
he picked her up, carrying her inside.
he sat against the wall, holding her in his lap, making sure nothing could hurt her in the comfort of his arms

kingo held agnis hand, humming softly in her ear as they layed in bed
he rubbed her back, leaving soft kisses on her cheek
"it's okay agni, the storm won't hurt you while i'm here" he spoke
he loved playing protecter for agni
he loved being there for her, and protecting her through everything
he was her rock as she was his

he held her hand
bang
agni shook in fear, closing her eyes and burrowing her face into kingos chest
kingo squeezed her hand
one two three times
'i love you'
he kissed the top of her head
holding her in his arms felt like the last piece to his puzzle
he hummed a tune until he heard her soft snores,
"my dear agni how i love you so" he sang, humming after
"my dear agni i'll never let go" he kissed all over her face
"my dear agni, you are mine!" he giggled, running his hands through her hair
"my dear agni my perfect find" he held out the last note but stopped when he heard a cough
"that's was so cheesy" it was druig
"she's not even awake" he continued
"shut up" kingo said throwing a pillow at him
agni turned over, her eyes opening slightly
"i wasn't asleep he's just really gullible"
kingo laughed, tickling agnis sides
"i love you" he said, hugging her
agni flipped over, flying them off the bed
the two arupted in a fit of giggles as druig left the room
"i love you too"

agni fell asleep in druigs arms, as the thunderstorm subsided
druig took a breath, laying her on her bed and tucking her in
he kissed her forehead and whispered an "i love you" to his dear friend

-POV SWITCH: brelione, egypt-

brelione sat on her bed, holding a flower druig picked for her
she held it everyday to keep it alive, it was her happy place
"brelione, what have i told you?" brelione jumped, dropping the flower on the ground

ikaris walked over to her, stepping on the flower in the process
the left overs of breliones home life smashed on the bottom of his shoe
"druig never loved you" he said, holding his hand under her chin, moving her face upwards to look at him
"I love you brelione, i won't leave you like he and agni did. i won't die like agni did-"

"she isn't dead"

ikaris shook his head
"you wouldn't know, you never leave the house, ajak told me, no reason to grieve" ikaris smiled at her

"but the letter-"

ikaris grabbed her hand
he was growing angry, he looked her in her eyes
"i wrote those letters"
brelione stood up, shaking her head

"why would you have done that? you lied"

"i didn't lie, i just, i needed-"

"you gave me false hope ikaris, you don't love me"

breliones eyes flooded with tears, her hands were moving at rapid pace

"you don't LOVE ME! how could someone who
loves me do something so cruel? brelione is my sister, she's my other half and she's DEAD and you LIED! you don't lie to someone who lies to you!! you don't understand me, i don't understand you, we should just-!"

ikaris grabbed her hands again, kissing her forehead though she resisted
"i do love you, i lied to protect your heart and i'm sorry, i love you, i love you, i love you"

brelione collapsed into ikaris, she cried as he held her
maybe ikaris did love her?
maybe ikaris did have her best interest at her
maybe she did love ikaris
maybe agni was dead
maybe druig didn't love her
but her heart didn't want to settle on any of this

-POV SWITCH: agni, amazon-

druig rushed into agnis room, banging on the door
"AGNI I HAVE SOMETHING THAT WOULD CHEER YOU UP!!"
druig turned on their small TV
(that agni, phastos, and sprite designed)
he placed a DVD into the slot and the movie began to play
"what is going on-?" agni asked

"kingo the movie star"

agni stared at the TV, as the man she loved made this horrible movie
but she knew he was made for the spotlight
he was made for being infront of everyone showing what he got
and then she heard it
kingos line to the girl in the show
but he stared at the camera
at agni
in the eyes

he was looking at her and she felt, home again
"you know, no matter how far apart we are, i believe that you can look up at the sky, and know i'll be looking at the sky too, and no matter how far we are away, we are always under the same moon, and i am always thinking about you"

agni took a breath

"i love you"
