Agni's story ~kingo

burn

agni woke up feeling refreshed and a smile on her face, she felt as if she could rule the world.
and she could

agni walked out of her room, she looked so, fresh, it was blinding to the eye
"woah, agni are you feeling okay?" druig asked, feeling her forehead with the back of his hand
"yes dru, i'm feeling great" she said, slapping his hand away
as if on cue kingo walked out of agnis room "morning ag, druig" he said, kissing agni on the cheek and walking into the kitchen

"no way" druig said, wide eyed at agni, "you and kingo ha-" agni slapped her hand over druig a mouth and teleported them into her room
"no! we didn't!" she said in a hushed tone, her hand still holding druigs mouth shut
muffled sounds of him responding could be heard
as agni was frantically looking to see no one heard him, druig took matters into his own hands

"DRUIG WHYD YOU LICK ME!?" she screeched, wiping her hand on her shirt
druig chuckled happily "Sorry ag, couldn't breath, so tell me what happened!!"
agni began to smile again, remembering how kingo loved her too
"he loves me too" she said, smiling from ear to ear
"i told you" druig smirked, high-fiving agni with a chuckle
"come on i'm starving" agni said, walking out of the room and into the kitchen

"good morning lovely family!" agni said, practically skipping into the kitchen
"are you feeling okay?" phastos asked, going to feel her forehead
"why is everyone asking that!" agni said, her hair bursting into flames quickly, and then retracting
"calm down ag, your getting worked up" kingo said, standing up quickly, kissing her forehead

"why did we want this to happen again?" ikaris asked
"i'm appalled, thoroughly, disgusted" he continued, earning a smack from brelione

'i've been waiting thousands of years for this' makkari said, smiling from ear to ear
"it's not that big of a deal" agni stated, sitting at the table with her plate
"not a big deal at all" kingo smiled, holding agnis hand under the table
"can i just eat my breakfast please?" ikaris said, rolling his eyes at the couple
"yeah sure ikaris! it's looking a little cold, do you need me to warm it up for you?" agni asked sweetly, creating a flame in her hand
"no! do not burn my breakfast again" he complained, pulling it closer to him.

agni was over the moon, so even ikaris wouldn't bring down her mood
"deviants in town, let's go" sersi barged in with ajak right behind.

the fighters began to rush out of the ship quickly, some faster than others.

agni hated fighting, she felt like a monster. it made her hate her powers sometimes, it put herself and others in danger, she hated the danger of her flames
even if she was just fighting deviants, and saving humanity, she was terrified she would lose control
her power is strong, and she's terrified it will get to out of hand when she's angered

with a swoop of her hand another deviant was up in flames with a horrifying screech
"AGNI!" agni turned around, horrified at the sight infront of her

agnis hands set the dress shop on fire, she shot at a deviant, she threw the fire across the town and onto the shop
"help!" anna, the shops clerk, yelled, but agni was frozen
she could move
"agni you gotta move!" sersi yelled, as makkari rushed over to pick anna out of the burning shop

"i've got it!" gilgamesh called as he started fighting the last deviant
"agni you have to move!" thena yelled, but agni couldn't think, she couldn't hear, she couldn't move.
she caused so much destruction, and she almost killed an innocent girl

agni knew the worst was coming, she felt her face heat up, and her body become tense
"agni, it's okay" she heard a faint voice among the static of her mind
and all she saw were flames
beautiful, magestic blue flames infront of her eyes, and when her eyes closed she saw anna, grabbing every dress from the destroyed shop she could

agni felt someone grab her hand
and faint panic among the people outside her mind
"she's going to hurt you!"
"she's a monster!"
and with every word she grew more and more heated
"Why are you always messing these missions up!" it was ikaris
she would know his thick accent from anywhere

that hurt, it hurt so bad she let out a scream, louder than she's ever screamed before, and the flames shot all over her body
and for the first time ever her flames hurt, it burned her whole body and she couldn't make it stop
"agni just breath" she heard
"don't touch me!!" sue yelled, her body hurt, yet she couldn't move, she could do nothing to fix it
and she felt someone pull her into a hug, yet they never moved or screamed, or hurt.
"i love you" she focused on the voice speaking to her, the hand rubbing her hair, the arm placing her head on their shoulder
"who are you? i'm going to hurt you.." she sobbed,
"it's kingo agni, i love you" he spoke. agni sank into his shoulder, and she didn't even realize her fire going out
"shhh it's okay, breath, i'm right here" kingo whispered, placing his forehead onto hers

agnis eyes opened, and were met with kingos, and she was home again
she wasn't in the horrible deep dark static of her mind, she wasn't in the burning abis she created for herself
she was home, in kingos arms, she no longer hurt, she no longer felt pain, she no longer saw her destruction when her eyes shut
all she saw was kingo

and that's all she wanted to see for the rest of forever
